Story
Hi there! My name is Eight, and here are eight reasons I make the perfect friend: 1) I love outdoor adventures!, 2) I am told that I am very handsome boy with the cutest brindle coat, 3) once I get to know people, I love meeting new friends, 4) I am working on my indoor manners and am excited to find a patient friend who is willing to help me continue to learn new things!, 5) My tail goes all wiggly waggly when I`m happy or excited, 6) I am really good at letting you know when someone is coming to the door! Who needs a door bell anyway?, 7) I love to have fun and run around, and 8) I love a whole lot of love to give! If you are looking for a friend like me, come on down! I can`t wait to meet you! Medical History: I appear to be a healthy adult, but it`s always a good idea to set up an appointment with your vet soon after adoption so we can meet each other!Weight: ~ 46lbsRestrictions: No small kids, no apartments, no other dogs due to tense behavior in shelter.Adoption Fee: $375 + Tax

Story
Stormi came to SFTS one rainy day, wandering up to our door and looking for help. We're unsure if she was a stray or was dumped, but what we know for sure is we're glad she landed with us. Stormi is a gentle, docile pittie mix puppy with a heart of gold. She bonds quickly with her people, loves to learn, and is great with other dogs. Her ideal family would be one who gives her some time to settle in after a very uncertain start to life, and supports her socialization with basic training as she grows into a wonderful adult dog. If you think Stormi might be the dog for you, please fill out an application! All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. If you're interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at https://www.sftsrescue.org/adoptable-dogs

Story
Julien is an absolute dreamboat! Not only is he a slam-dunk in the looks department, he's mastered the "puppy eyes"; and just sucks you in with one look. Julien is sweet as can be, just melting in your hands and showering you with kisses. This kid is a master snuggler, and his tail never stops wagging. Although Julien does totally fine with other dogs when a barrier such as a fence or kennel door is involved, he would prefer not to share your attention and be the only dog in his forever home. Julien came to us with many scars on his face and legs, so we're assuming he may have been attacked in the past and understandably feels a bit nervous around other dogs. Julien has spent some time in our staff offices, as he's a favorite around the shelter. He loves to help with office duties and make sure everyone stays on task. After a few minutes of exploring, Julien settles in and lays on his bed all stretched relaxing. Julien is one fantastic pup, that's for sure! All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. Story
Hope is being fostered in LA. Hope is a sweet and happy girl. She does have some vision loss. Hope is fit, healthy and a very loyal pup full of energy and love. She is ready to fill your days with adventure and nights with cuddling. Hope is looking for a daytime exercise partner with whom she can run, play with toys, engage in games of catch, tug of war and sometimes long silly leaps just for fun. In the evening a snuggle buddy is in order so she can cuddle close with her head on the lap of her human. Hope is very loyal and loving to her person. This sweetheart is well behaved and very likeable. She does well on a leash and is really great about going to her kennel when asked. Hope enjoys meeting new people and they, her. She is so adored at the vets office that they treat her like the “Belle of the Ball” giving her all kinds of special attention and loving. Hope, with all her positive qualities is still a youngster and often doesn’t know her own strength, so she can sometimes play rough. Slow introductions would be best. She plays well with most dogs, but prefers unassertive canine friends and would do well in a home without small children or cats. (Transports within 18 hours travel time are available to approved adopter.) BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
