Story
Chewy is a loving, energetic dog who thrives when he has plenty of time outdoors and lots of attention from his favorite human. He was adopted at around 4 years old from a shelter in Florida and spent several years happily bonded to a single owner. He is deeply loyal and tends to form a strong attachment to one primary person, making him an incredibly devoted companion. Recent changes in his current home including a new relationship, pregnancy, long work hours, and an upcoming newborn have been difficult for him. He has struggled to adapt to these changes, not due to behavior issues or lack of love, but because he truly needs more one-on-one attention and stability than his current owners can provide. Chewy would do best in a home with an active person or family who has the time to give him the attention, outdoor play, and companionship he craves. He is a sweet, affectionate dog who wants nothing more than to be close to his person and be included in daily life.

Story
Arriving in WI on January 9th! Tot is an adorable 3 month old female puppy. We anticipate her to be medium size when fully grown. She has a beautiful golden and white coat. Tot was found, along with her mom and littermates, living underneath a trailer at a solar farm in rural Texas. Local rescuers built up mom's trust by feeding regularly, and thankfully were able to trap mom and crawl under the trailer to rescue the babies. Tot, her littermates and her mom are now well fed, warm, and healthy while living at their rescuer's home. Tot loves people and plays well with other dogs. She is working hard on her potty training skills, but her forever family should be prepared to do more training while she learns the routine in her new home. She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition. She will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday, January 9th, and will be available to meet, and take home if she is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. We use those funds to support our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we transport and adopt out in the northern United States. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south eastern Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis. She is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption on Friday January 9th. If upon meeting, she is not a good fit for your family, the deposit is refundable. We ask that you are serious about your intent to adopt before placing a deposit, so as not to prevent her from finding her forever family in the meantime, as we only accept one deposit per dog. If placing a deposit is not the right fit for your family, we invite you to our adoption event at our office in Muskego on Sunday January 11th, where you can meet all of our available pups, no deposit necessary. If you’re not already familiar with our group, please feel free to visit our Group Page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity If you are serious about this pup, please contact us at DogTrailRides@gmail.com. We take payments through Zelle, Venmo, or CashApp, or we can take card numbers over the phone and process them through Square. All of these methods provide a receipt. Thank you for supporting our efforts to bring Texas dogs north to loving homes! You can read more about us at https://facebook.com/TxRescueRiders (Texas Rescue Riders). Also feel free to join our Group Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity (Texas Rescue Riders Community) where members can post directly. We cannot guarantee breed or age. We assign breed and age designations based on veterinary advice and information from the prior owner.

Story
Wally was abandoned in an apartment building in Oklahoma City, where he was found alone and in need of help. Thankfully, he was rescued from the OKC shelter and brought to Milwaukee by a kind-hearted local, all in hopes of finding him the forever home he truly deserves. Wally is a happy, playful, and affectionate boy, estimated to be around 2–3years old and ideally weighing 70–75 lbs. He absolutely loves going for walks, playing tug-of-war, chasing after balls, splashing in water, and snuggling up for belly rubs and cuddles. This sweet pup is potty trained, crate trained, knows his name, and responds to basic commands like "sit" and "down." He’s polite with treats, rarely barks, and gets along well with other dogs. However, he’s not a fit for a home with cats. Wally is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to bring joy and love into a new home.If you're looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and playful spirit, Wally would love to meet you!
