Rayne was found roaming the streets and not in the best shape, we suspected that she could’ve been pregnant , but after a visit to the vet, they confirmed that is just a phantom pregnancy and it should resolve on its own. The good doctors gave her a bunch of TLC and magic potions, and she is thriving, after she agreed to take the “no more puppies pledge”, she was spayed, and is looking forward to the single life.You would think that Rayne is holding grudges, but no, not her, she is a total love bug, continually snuggling and wagging her tail nonstop, she takes treats ever so gently, and loves all kinds of people, and stuffed toys. Rayne is calm, sweet and so happy.Rayne has been tested with male submissive dogs and has done well, but introductions to new dogs, specially females, should be slow and cautious. Rayne will need a 6 foot fence yard, because  of her size and breed she won’t do well in apartments. Rayne is looking for a family that will give her the love she craves,  and will include her on their activities, whether is a walk in the park or a TV movie night. Apricot can be weary of new 4-legged friends, so patience and slow introductions may be necessary. Apricot is very smart and eager to please. She walks well on a Hermes-Sprenger collar. She is very treat motivated and more than willing to practice commands. Please read the bio & email the address listed in the bio.   Additionally for CATS you  may email  JShelton@eulesstx.gov and for DOGS, email trinitygapclub@gmail.com       Meet our sweet Lady Bug!  When we first met Lady Bug in the shelter several months ago, you could see life had not been easy.  She had obviously had a  couple litters of puppies and her eyes were so sad.  She looked totally defeated.  However, she was such a good girl and let us exam her teeth, paws, and brush her coat.  You could see she only wanted to be loved and would easily bond with people.  Lady Bug loves to sunbath on mild sunny days on an outdoor bench with a chew toy or good bone.  If you want her to be more active, she loves playing a game of tug with anyone who will indulge her or fetching balls.   She also enjoy walks and anytime spent with people.    Lady Bug is a four year old Staffordshire Terrier mix who weighs around 55 pounds.  She is potty trained, totally vetted and ready for a home for the holidays.  Lady Bug will require a home with a 6’ wooden fence.   She would do best as an only dog because she can be dog selective.   When introduced to cats, she had no reaction, so we would introduce to cats cautiously as per personality of the cat.   If you would like to foster or adopt Lady Bug, please email steffeniegaprescue@gmail.comApril 24, 2024, 8:45 pm

June Bug is an absolutely wonderful loving dog who adores people.   However, due to the attack, she does not like other dogs but is working with a trainer on her fears.    June Bug is a little bully mix at only 46 pounds.  She loves car rides and is kennel and potty trained. When we first met her, she was shaking, scared, and traumatized.  She is doing much better now and has come out of her shell.  She loves everyone she meets.   Zoey does well with most dogs as long as their energy does not overwhelm her.  She would do best with a calmer dog.  She was a very good girl while getting her bath by the GAP girls at the shelter and loved the towel rub afterwards.  She loves treats and belly rubs,  but we don’t think she has ever had a toy.  She did not know what to do with one when we gave it to her.Zoey weighs 52 pounds, and is up to date on shots.    If you would like to meet this very pretty and loving two year old, please email steffeniegaprescue@gmail.comApril 24, 2024, 8:45 pm

Misty deserves someone who will make her part of their family, and they will be rewarded with a fun and loving dog. I rescued my dog from a shelter in Los Angeles when he was 7 months old. I don't know what happened during the 7 months but I know he had to be given up due to not being allowed to have him at the apartment of whoever had him before me. He is 7 years old as of December 2023. He was fine for a long time, but he pulls on his leash, chews up books, paper, goes through trash, and has become overall very hard to deal with for the amount of attention he needs. He's not a bad dog but I don't have the energy anymore to continue dealing with these issues. He is high energy and needs to be able to run around.

TJ is such a great dog. He is approximately 3-4 yrs. old and loves people.  His excited state when seeing people he knows is to nip them on their fingers to get attention which could be alarming to small children therefore we believe he would do best with older children who would not be startled with this form of affection.  He does know the "sit" command and that helps to calm him down a little.  We believe he is a Staffordshire Terrier mixed with perhaps a boxer. He is currently fostered where he has to stay outside so we don't know if he is house trained.  He does have a large outside chain link kennel he stays in at night which has a designated area for relieving himself and he does use that area so we feel he would be easy to house train.  He isn't a big marker outside so we think that would not be a big issue inside the house but he would need to be watched to correct that issue should it arise.  He gets along with most dogs and has a best friend "Sofie" who he runs and plays with and they are in kennels next to each other.  We believe he would thrive better emotionally with a female companion to pal around with in a working family household where the family is gone part of the day since we already know he does so well with Sofie who is a girl.  We don't know how he is with cats.  Because our adoption process includes a home visit for a yard check, he is available for adoption in the immediate Dallas-Ft.Worth area only.
