Story
Meet the sweetest and most affectionate sisters, Honey and Tala. These social and loving beauties- Honey, age 9 and Tala, age 6, were adopted a few years ago as bonded sisters. Unfortunately, Honey and Tala’s mom recently passed away, so these two amazing and super friendly dogs are once again looking for their truly forever family. Honey and Tala are super gentle, very friendly and adore people. They will greet you like they do every person-with wagging butts and big smiles! Honey & Tala are the cutest clowns who enjoy life and love being a part of the family. They are anxious to have their new humans around more- and will listen to you and be loyal to you right away. The mid-sized stocky girls have been lacking in the exercise department and are looking forward to renewed walks and fetch-time. The pair is good with children and other dogs, but are content to hang out with each other in their backyard and chill. The girls are house trained and crate trained; but can be trusted to be free in the house all day when their dad is at work. They know their basic commands and are very good on the leash. Honey and Tala are over their puppy stages, so not chewers or diggers; nor are they barkers or jumpers. Honey and Tala have not been around cats.  They are vaccinated and spayed. They currently weigh 45-50lbs but with more exercise and low calorie food should weigh in about 40-45lbs This dynamic little duo is seeking a fun family with lots of love and affection. They are missing their mom and need more activity and more love in their lives. To meet happy Honey and totally cool Tala at their current home in Bonney Lake, email Pam at raincityrescue@gmail.com. These perfect pittie pals need you!  If you are interested in meeting this lovely gentle pair of sisters please email Pam at raincityrescue.com.October 1, 2023, 2:04 pm

This goofy, playful pup is looking for his forever home! He is in need of a home with no other animals. He loves to be outside playing in the yard. His favorite things are car rides, squeeky toys and baths! We're unsure but he probably would love a good swim as well! He will be fine being left home alone while his people are at work. He has lived with children over 10 years old and did wonderful. Fenced in yard required. Adopters must live in Western Washington state. He is your classic goofy Pittie with soooo much love to give! Will you give him a chance??

PLEASE DIRECT INQUIRIES ABOUT ADOPTABLE DOGS TO OUR FACEBOOK. WE ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO PROCESS APPLICATIONS VIA EMAIL DUE TO LIMITED STAFF. OUR CONTACT IS THROUGH FACEBOOK MESSENGER. https://www.facebook.com/REDRescueEveryDog/ Apollo is a 4 year old Staffordshire terrier lab mix who loves nothing more than to snuggle and love on his human. He is smart, gentle, snuggly, and playful. He is 65lbs. Apollo is up to date on all vaccinations and is neutered. He loves to sunbathe and be outside with his human. He has a hard time trusting males and struggles with change, so he will need a home that is stable (not moving a lot) and the male in the home needs to be there enough to build a relationship with him (not in and out traveling for work). Apollo does have anxiety and will need a lot of help with overcoming this especially with going to the vet and groomer. He has allergies in the fall/winter and eats Zignature kangaroo allergy friendly food. He loves to play with other dogs and has never had an incident while at doggie daycare, but he sometimes plays like a puppy and that can scare some bigger dogs. He’s patient and gentle with kids but would do best in a home with older kids because younger kids make him anxious. He is crate trained, house broken, and does great in his kennel. He is the most lovable guy who needs someone to help him with anxiety in an environment that is stable and calm. This dog requires a fully fenced yard with a visible fence, as well as a sturdy, high quality crate (no wire or soft crates will be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). We will be considering homes in W. Wa and possibly Oregon, no other out of state adoptions at this time. Adoption donation is $250.00. THIS DOG IS IN FOSTER CARE IN LACEY, WA. MEET AND GREETS WILL TAKE PLACE THERE AS WELL. REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION: - Securely and visibly fenced yard - Sturdy/safe crate, due to the safety hazard wire crates will be not be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). - Another like sized, playful, kind dog - Western Washington (WA), and possibly Northern Oregon locations at caseworker discretion. Don't miss out on the chance to make him a part of your family – he's just a wag away! Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wondering our streets. So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home. Many never even had a home and were born on the streets. WE gave them a chance. Every animal deserves a chance. We know if adopted by you they will be loved and cared for . We believe in our local and out of state applicants. There is a reason we drive to the Pacific Northwest every 2 weeks. You are worth the drive. We have AMAZING adopters and we need more like them. No matter if you live here in Houston, the Pacific Northwest or Canada we welcome you! Thank you for considering to adopt and not shop.If we are in Houston, then how can you see our posts? Spring Branch Rescue has fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Yes our rescue is in Houston. Our available animals live with foster families. This is a win for you as the transition from our home to yours will be a much easier one. We do have foster homes in your area. This is why you are able to see our posts. Unfortunatelly Meet & Greets have been cancelled due to Covid Restrictions. Almost all our animals traveling have been adopted. We have been doing this since 2019 and very successful. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Our website has information about our rescue, adoption process and link to our adoption application www.collarofhope.org  We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit. KONA is a great dog, and she's still wondering where her awesome new family is?  She's been in our rescue for over 3 years.  She would love to be your one and only, or she would do well with another dog her size and maybe age.  She would love to go on walks or hang out.  She's a really sweet dog.   KONA arrived very pregnant and gave birth to 8 babies Dec 20, 2019!  She has playful energy, but also loves to lay at your feet.  She listens really well, has shown great house manners, and is a lovable companion.  This is a good thing because she hates being crated and has busted out of them. She loves playing with her foster's dogs.  They are husky/shepherd mixes, and she is even submissive with them. She's also been around small dogs and has been fine with them, but larger dogs are best for this girl if there are dogs in the home.  No cats please. Her new family must be a home owner and have a securely fenced yard, no exceptions.   Prior to adoption, our dogs are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.  &#226&#128&#139Please visit our website directly to complete an online application. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 1, 2023, 2:47 pm

Story
FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT Meet Tasha! She is an energetic, 5-month-old Shepherd/Pittie mix who loves to play. She came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in CA and is looking for her forever home. She is a sweet girl who is eager to learn. She will need an adopter who will need to be committed to potty training, obedience training and everything that a puppy needs. She would love a home/townhome with a fenced yard in a suburban or rural area. She does well with other dogs and loves to play in the play yard with other dogs. She would love to be in a home with another dog to help show her the ropes as she grows up, or a home that has other dogs in their friend/family circle for him to socialize with. Tasha is up to date on her vaccinations and will be spayed and microchipped prior to adoption. Her adoption fee is $500.
