Its impossible to not smile when you see those big ears and happy face come running to you! Guinness doesn't just love people he loves making new friends with every dog he meets. Turn in an application today and come get one of Guinness hugs. A volunteer had this to say, "Guinness is a very sweet boy who is not fully aware of his size and strength. He needs a little training to learn not to jump up and/or pull on his leash, but at heart is a goofball gentle giant."

Story
Bogie has a lot of energy. With more time and walks we believe he would calm down. He defiantly needs to burn off energy daily to be happy and this may change with age. Bogie has not had much leash training and will pull on a leash he is a strong boy so it will take someone strong to leash train time. On 02/16/24 Bogie was cat tested and we feel he would do best in a home with no cats. While Bogie is a sweetheart and loves people he just needs some TLC. Please call 707-459-4900 to make an appointment to visit Bogie.

Story
Are you looking for a gorgeous, active large breed young dog? if so, Chewy is the dog for you. Chewy is a happy, affectionate and playful boy, a mix of shepherd, terrier and pittie. He has a great personality and will bring lots of love, smiles and laughs to his furever home. Chewy loves taking long walks and hikes; chasing balls, especially those that squeak. Chewy is smart and already knows how to sit, lay down and wait for a command to eat his food or take a treat. He is also house trained, takes treats gently, sleeps in his crate, is great on his walks, and is not a big barker. He also loves a good belly rub. The ideal home for Chewy would be a loving, active family with previous dog experience. He is an excellent snuggler and will also curl up with you on the couch and calmly chew on a toy. He is so loving and eager to please you cannot help falling in love with him. Letting him be the only animal in the house who gets all of your attention will win his heart. Chewy is neutered, microchipped and is up to date on his vaccinations. Applications are being accepted and qualified applicants will be contacted for an appointment. Chewy's adoption fee is sponsored by a Jelly's Place volunteer.

Hi everyone! Unfortunately I am having to rehome my sweet dog Butter:(( I recently adopted her from the shelter about 2 months ago and I am unable to give her the full patience and attention she needs. She is around 9 months old and fully vaccinated .She is one of the sweetest dogs and gets along with everybody and other pets! Unfortunately I have run into some issues with training her and i feel she would thrive in a family who had more time to focus on training her. It breaks my heart having to make this decision but I ultimately feel it’s what’s best for both of us! So if you are interested in giving this adorable girl a home please let me know , I just want to make sure she’s going to a good family 🌼🌼🌼

Story
Adoptable Dog Stevie: Check out this girl's rare lineage and distinctive beauty! Meet Stevie, beautiful in her unique, one of a kind-ness! This blonde bombshell is believed to be a Central Asian Shepherd, possible blend, roughly 2 years old, 85 lbs, spayed, vaxed, microchipped and is looking for a family who appreciates her charm! PACC has been asked to help rehome Stevie because she and her canine sister get along great - until they don't. While the family isn't clear who starts the arguments, we want to err on the side of caution and find Stevie a home where she can be the sole doggess and her sister can be the same. The girls like to Face Time, just not under the same roof, if you follow our drift... Stevie boasts a myriad of superpowers: She's a people enthusiast, never meeting a person she doesn't adore. Humans find her irresistible (PACC being no exception) Bred to be a working dog, she's from the generation that throws out traditional job descriptions and writes their own - she aspires to be "THE" family dog and we don't want to stifle her entrepreneurial ambitions Stevie is super playful and puppy-like without the puppy downside of housetraining. While energetic in short bursts, she balances her day with napping and occasional and highly entertaining "zoomies" She likes her feline friends and tries hard to entice them to play. Blank stares are not a deal breaker in her book Stevie prefers play to walks—and LOVES treat toys and puzzles. It's important to her to keep her brain cells sharp Stevie is great on leash and can go for walks but when she is tired you'll know it cause she plops down (typically 15-30 minutes into a walk). With a good tug and motivational talk she'll continue on like the good girl that she is If Stevie sounds like a good fit with your situation COPY AND PASTE THE LINK TO THE adoption application into your browser and we will be in touch: No other dogs, cats ok, moderately active household or one that likes to keep the dogs brain occupied through games; children in the home 10 or older because little humans take time, dogs take time and few families have time for both; no need to follow in-fashion breed trends since Stevie's lineage and unique beauty is rare! (when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Marley is a big, handsome hunk, and a fairly easy going and confident companion. He is a genuinely medium energy dog. He loves going out for a walk or an adventure, even a gentle jog, but he doesn't need hours or miles to wear him out. He's very happy with a trip to a restaurant (snacks?!) or a bar, or a gentle stroll and a picnic on the beach. A mellow lifestyle suits this gentle giant just fine. He loves to cuddle and nap on the couch, and hang out with his humans, but when you need to leave him he's relaxed and happy in a crate, though he doesn't need one. He uses a dog door. He's fully house trained, a total couch potato, great in the car, and walks well most of the time on leash. He does have a strong prey drive, so not a good fit for families with cats. When he sees a squirrel, or a dog he really wants to say hi to, he can really pull. And, since he weighs 95lb, he is very strong indeed! Marley can have dominance issues if he feels challenged by another male - or they don't want to play with him and try to correct him. He has gone on pack walks and been great!! Marley does need to be desensitized around bicycles, he has had a bite incident with someone on a bike riding past. So that is a consideration and so, he may be better suited to a more rural environment and likely as an only dog or with a submissive female. Older kids (no bikes) would be okay too. Fosters say Marley is a "love bug, been trained to sit, down, off, up stay, shake, working on hold, drop, heel release command is 'free.'" He is best suited for life with adults as only pet. He can be left alone. He has moderate activity level needing at least one good walk or jog per day.
