Story
2 year old (Feb 2023) male Neutered Chipped About 42lbs Loves running, jumping and playing in the water (loves to catch the rain coming off the porch) Will sit on command and wait until you give "eat" command He's potty trained and is a great indoor/outdoor dog He will chase cats/birds He seems to be fine with other dogs, haven't had any incidents. He is fine with my 9m old son, older kids might have to let him warm up to them first (give treats/food) and he's usually fine after. He'll come with a large indoor/outdoor dog cot and his favorite duck toy he loves to sleep with (he's had it since he was a pup) Moving across the country into a smaller house/apartment with very little if any backyard and won't be big enough for him to run around.

This handsome guy is sweet, loves being pet, going for walks, hiking, and playing with other dogs. He is very timid at first since he has been abused. Looking for a patient family that will give him time to warm up and learn to trust. Good with dogs large and small. Likes lounging on the couch and wading in his pool when not busy playing. Needs a good 6 foot fence, as he will run away if scared. Give this guy a chance and call his foster mom to set up a meeting. 601-479-2601

Story
Are you my new Mum or Dad? I’m Wrexx, your furrever cuddle bug! I was rescued by a nice lady in Tolleson. Her dogs didn’t like me, so this other lady rescued me - just to get me fixed, shots, microchipped, and find my furrever home. They have 3 dogs and 4 cats at any given time at their home, so, it’s a zoo! I’m about 2-3yrs old. I am a Heeler - Australian cattle dog. I like to herd the cats when they run, or if anyone falls or runs underneath me. Aside from that, I’m very smart. I am house trained & know commands, even “out of mama’s kitchen!” I would do best in a more calm environment where I can love and protect you! 💕 If we can be best mates, let me know! I look forward to loving you forever! Wrexx

Story
**This is a courtesy listing for Frosted Faces, Vintage Paws Animal Rescue** Meet Maggie, AKA Maggie-Moo to her (many) friends! Maggie is a BIG, beautiful, senior Cattle Dog; she is approximately eight-years-old and weighs over 80 pounds. Maggie came to the shelter system when her former family developed severe health issues and were no longer able to care for her, or the other dogs in the home. The family was going to euthanize Maggie and her little buddy, Chico, because they had nowhere for them to go. Maggie was severely overweight at intake, weighing 84.6 pounds. We are happy to say that she has already lost four-and-a-half-pounds in the time she's been at rescue! Maggie actually enjoys being active and walks perfect on leash, making her weight-loss goals super obtainable. She enjoys trotting around the yard and will chase the ball or toy and bring it back. From there, she enjoys sitting and chewing on her toy, or trotting around with it in her mouth to show you how CUTE she is! Maggie is a happy-go-lucky and social dog who gets along with everyone she meets. She loves people and is happiest when she can be a part of the family, just hanging out wherever you are. Maggie also does great with other dogs, both big and small. We have introduced her to a variety of different dog personalities and she is very social and tolerant with everyone she has met so far. Maggie is currently in a temporary foster home and they report that Maggie goes to the door when she needs to potty, "is just the chillest girl," and "is so sweet and just wants to be included in everything". Maggie is looking for a family who is committed to her weight-loss goals so that she can live her longest, healthiest life! We are open to a foster or foster-to-adopt family for Maggie! Maggie-Moo is full of love and has SO much to offer a new family. Could that lucky family be YOURS? Maggie is up to date on her vaccinations and previously spayed. Story
Meet Scout! Scout is a 5 year old 70 pound male with beautiful leash, house and people manners! He loves his people and seems to think that he is a giant lap dog. Scout has lived with a family for the last five years that loved him dearly but just could not keep him.  Scout is good with children and has been well trained. He is a soft soul and is fully housetrained. He is in group play in day care and occasionally needs to be reminded that he is not in charge of all of his friends:); therefore, Scout would do best as an only dog. He listens very well to reminders and is quick to respond to his human directors:) To ensure his safety, a secure, fenced-in yard is required.  Adoption Requirements: Scouts adoption fee is $350. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and think he could be the right fit for you, please complete an adoption application*: Scout is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped.  If you are interested in making Scout a permanent member of your family, please fill out our online   Application*   https://helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application   .       *Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Applications are forwarded to the foster family for review and follow-up.    April 16, 2025, 7:44 am

Story
We do not know exactly what she is as she is mixer. I hate to do this but I am looking to rehome my girl. I have special need children and with her animal aggression has made it very difficult to take her anywhere. Since we are a military family we need a dog that can travel well and wont be a risk of attacking animals. Crate and is house trained. Fully vaccinated. And fixed! She is not good with other dogs and shy with strangers. Once she gets comfortable she is extremely protective and will make an excellent guard dog. She is also great with kids, including babies. Our dog sitter did have a dog and once properly introduced she is fine but just going for a walk she does not do well with stranger dogs and gets a lot of anxiety when around new and a lot of people. Knows how to sit, stay, lay, paw and how to ring the bell to go outside. We are being selective with her rehoming. She is a fantastic dog just needs a more suitable family.
