Buddy is a very sweet dog. We took him in temporarily from a family friend but we now have a baby at home and we are no longer able to give him the attention he deserves. We also have two other dogs he gets along with well with and a 5 year old son. With exception to 1 time he briefly got into it with our other male dog over the year we’ve had him. Not anything serious, just over sharing food. But want to be transparent with new owners. He is kennel trained and doggy door trained. No accidents in the house at all. Hoping we can find him a loving home

***Courtesy Post*** Meet Bailey, the energetic, affectionate rescue mutt—she is likely part Australian Shepherd and part cattle dog. She is fixed, fully vaccinated, weighs about 45 lbs., and is estimated to be between 2 and 4 years old. Bailey is very generous with her kisses and loves getting attention from her humans. She gets along very well with women and children but requires more time to feel comfortable around new men in her life. When she isn’t getting showered with love, Bailey spends her free time chewing on her favorite toys and treats. Her other hobbies include chasing her blue squeaky ball around the yard, rolling in the grass, and digging just enough to bury her toys and treats for safe keeping. Bailey is house broken, responds to her name, and knows how to sit. She responds well to training exercises and would thrive with owners who can dedicate time for additional training. She loves getting dressed up for walks but is still working on her leash skills and would do best at a house with a closed yard where she can run around safely. Bailey requires more practice socializing with other animals and is best suited as an only pet. She gets along with other dogs when calm, but becomes nervous and reactive when they get too excited and try to play. Bailey has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Meet Boo the lover girl, a darling 2-year-old cattle dog mix. Background: Sweet Boo was found as a stray after being struck by a car. Despite her injuries, her gentle nature shone through, and shelter staff knew she was worth every effort. They invested in surgery to start her healing journey, and Boo underwent an FHO procedure. Since then, she has been recovering beautifully in a loving foster home. Personality: Boo is a sweetheart through and through—affectionate, gentle, and eager to please. Weighing in at 40 lbs doesn’t stop her from being a lap dog. She adores people of all ages and gets along with dogs of every size. Health: Boo is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. She underwent her FHO surgery on 10/30/25 and is progressing right on schedule. While dogs who receive an FHO may develop a quirky gait, Boo is expected to live a full, happy life filled with long walks, playful romps, and plenty of adventures. To support her long-term mobility, it’s important that Boo stays lean. Keeping her weight down will help protect her joints and ensure she continues to thrive. Training: Boo is housebroken, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash. Ideal Home: This laid-back gal is happiest simply being near her people, especially if snuggles are involved. Boo would thrive in almost any loving home where companionship and affection are part of daily life. She would likely do well with children, making her a wonderful family dog. Meet Gadget! Much like her Chip and Dale namesake, this girl is a fast learner, smart, curious, sweet, athletic, and adventurous. She attaches strongly to her person: Wants lots of snuggles, will follow you around the house, will stay by your side. However, she has a strong prey drive and gets protective of her person. She should not be in a house with small dogs or cats, and we are recommending adults only house at this time. She has strong herding instincts like a border collie or an Australian kelpie. She a tendency to herd even the humans (see cut off when walking), it’s very strong around other dogs. Both breeds are highly intelligent and require mental stimulation as well as physical exercise. She would do best in a house either as an only dog or with dogs her size or larger, that are confident and calm. She will need training and a confident human handler. She seems to know that potty is for outside and is getting better at using the dog door, though she doesn’t like being separated from her human and prefers to be joined outside until she feels secure in a forever home. She goes into a kennel easily and does not bark or whine once there.she also rides in the car well.
