Meet Cashew! She’s been in foster since January and is now looking for a forever home! Her foster mom wanted to keep her but due to her foster’s health challenges she needs to find placement. She’s a perfect, easy little dog - about 16 lbs (the cutest medium size!), dog & cat friendly (can be a bit alpha on first meet with other dogs), and walks great on a leash. She’s happy with easy walks, couch time, and loves brunch or coffee patio hangs. She’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and recently had a dental. Around 10 years old, but in fantastic health with many happy years ahead. Loves all people and does best with older, gentle kids. Let us know if you’re interested! Mochi is a high energy dog who needs a high energy person/family to bond with. She loves toys, and you can throw the ball or frisbee for a long time with her, she's a very fast runner and loves to play fetch. She's part pit, party cattle dog, and her cattle dog persona is strong. She is very focused, happy to go for walks or hikes at a moment's notice, and loves attention. Our household simply is not energetically-aligned with her needs and it is not fair to Mochi or her long-term happiness. She needs to be with a person/family who loves the outdoors, loves playing fetch for a good long while, and who can give her the attention she needs.
