Story
Winnie has really come out of her shell. She’s a sweet girl who can be a little cautious at first, but once she warms up, her loving nature shines through. She absolutely loves playing with other dogs and has done well meeting several pups at the rescue. Winnie does show some food resource guarding—she may growl, but she has never shown aggression. Because of this, she’ll do best being fed separately or in a home as the only dog. The good news is she has already shown improvement while being around multiple dogs. She enjoys sitting in your lap, loves being pet, walks nicely on a leash, and rides well in the car. Winnie appears to be a Heeler mix with adorable short legs, making her just as cute as she is loving.

Story
Buster is a great dog, with a lot of energy. He is a little over zealous sometimes and needs someone to help him redirect that energy with walks, hiking, runs on the beach, a game of fetch or just playtime with some doggy friends. After pulling him from the euthanasia list, he is only 10 months, becuse of his exuberance, we have been working with him to be a little more calm. It is a work in progress... but he is so sweet. ##2734170##

Story
Montana is a gorgeous, midsized Heeler mix who is the smartest pup this side of the Mississippi. She is ridiculously loyal to her people and gets the full body wiggles when you walk in that door. She is currently being fostered with several other dogs and is the welcoming committee. She is absolutely wonderful with all dogs. She is not alpha nor submissive, she is just fun and even the grumpiest of dogs end up playing with her. She would love an active home that offers regular walks, hikes or beach days. She is house trained and listens intently. She has gone through obedience training. She also loves to snuggle and chill on those rainy days.

Story
Meet Krudler! His name is a joke from the Simpsons, and this big goober is full of laughs. He aims to please and he loves to play - he can't get enough of the ball, frisbee, flirt pole, & tug rope. He'll also play solo, flinging soft toys and balls on his own in the yard. He loves to wrestle with known dog friends, and he's a quick learner when it comes to tricks and commands. After a long day he loves nothing more than to curl up in your lap and bathe you in kisses. Like many cattle dogs, Krud is very sensitive and easily overwhelmed in new environments. He struggles to focus on his handler outside of the home. He needs time & patience when meeting new human & canine friends, and he's polite with indoor cats. He would do best with an experienced working dog handler in a home with adults. He can be pushy with some dog friends and needs guidance to know when to relax. He has a strong drive to herd large moving objects. He has excellent house manners and is crate and muzzle trained. Apply to meet today!
