Story
Daffodil is almost two years old. She absolutely loves people and loves to play with pups. Daff is excellent at playing fetch. She has been raised as an indoor/outdoor pup so she appreciates both greatly. She’s loves walks and to tumble with other dogs. Daffodil is super loving and loves attention and to give kisses. We are only rehoming due to severe medical issues and want her to go to a loving home. Please reach out. We'd be willing to do meets.

Story
Francesco is currently being boarded at a facility in Mexico. Not the ideal situation but at least he is still with us. Francesco deserves a better life. He doesn’t get much human interaction and is becoming more shy and introverted everyday. He still has that zest for life though and isn’t giving up! He is friendly, playful, vaccinated, neutered, and ready for his FURever home at last! Please apply on our website - www.dmdr.org

Story
We rescued Zora from a kill shelter several months ago. She is a very sweet, affectionate, and energetic dog. She will require the opportunity to go on long walks and runs. She's very playful and a wonderful hugger (her fur is soooo soft). She's very young. She was very good at using puppy pads, but has recently become confused as we're trying to train the dogs (we have 7) to go outside. She is very much a pleaser and will (usually) go to her crate when she's told. She loves to play with other doggies, but gets very nippy sometimes and terrorizes our pit bull who doesn't realize she could easily end Zora (and instead jumps in mommy's lap). We'd rather she never find that out. With my husband leaving the home (we are separating), the "alpha" is gone and Zora is now trying to assert dominance. Thus it's best for the other dogs and our preschooler if she lives elsewhere. We will miss her, but she's just too much for one small person to handle along with 6 other doggies.

Story
Per El Cajon Shelter: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler, red Merle, born 9-22-23. This is her second home. Currently 33 pounds. House broken, will scratch at door when she needs to go out. Decent on leash and good with other dogs though extremely hyper and still learning to stay down off people, counters. Extreme chewer, has chewed numerous cords, paper/cardboard, wood, but not furniture. Typical heeler, nips lightly at ankles and feet as you walk. She is a one master dog and listens better to my husband. Regrettably rehoming as 8 year old chihuahua hates her and she is too rough with our chickens. We have struggled with the decision to rehome for months. On vacation in Nevada she would wander approximately 1/4 mile from trailer, ate a bunch of crickets, hopped in the river/lakes while we were fishing. Does great in the backseat during long trips. Overall she is a good girl but definitely would prefer to be out on a ranch versus in a house.

She loves playing at the beach and jumping into the waves. Dua is currently being fostered in San Diego and does well with cats and other dogs. She has great will to please, she knows sit and gives her paw. She would do great on a home with a large yard where she could be busy helping out on the land. She happily learns new things and would be a perfect adventure companion!

Story
*This is a courtesy listing for a dog available for adoption in Vacaville, CA.* Meet Saffie! The owner of cattle dog Saffie and her lab mix friend Parker recently died of cancer. They live in a barn stall and are currently being cared for on a temporary basis by volunteers with Herd and Flock Animal Sanctuary that go to the barn once per day to give food and water. Saffie and Parker desperately need forever homes (separately or together.) Their caregivers share: "Saffie and Parker are middle-aged dogs with sweet dispositions. All they want is human contact and love. They had been neglected for a long time by the owner before her death. Saffie loves attention and would be happiest living in a home. In addition to Parker, she has lived with a Chihuahua and a German Shepard. As far as we know, she has gotten along well with all of them. Saffie is pretty low energy. She likes to sniff and wander around the yard, but she likes sitting next to a human to get pets more! Saffie has 24 hour access to an outdoor enclosure and always goes to the bathroom outside. We don't know what would happen if she lived inside in a home. Saffie is such a sweetheart once she knows you a little bit, but growls at strangers. It doesn't take her long to warm up, and then she is a love muffin! She plants herself next to a human to get pets. She has been neglected for years and would love to have someone give her attention and love." Saffie needs a very special family that will be patient as she adjusts to life in a home. Might that be you? It will be so rewarding to give Saffie the life and love she so deserves! Please contact Katie or Meghan at Herd and Flock Animal Sanctuary with questions or to express interest in adopting Saffoe. Call 415-359-4638 or 415-516-3124, or email info@herdandflockanimalsanctuary.org *This dog has not been assessed medically or behaviorally by Frosted Faces Foundation.*

Story
Nille is a very sweet loving dog. Unfortunately due to unseen events we do have to make the decision to rehome her. Nillie does currently live in a house with cats but have had shown behaviors of chasing the resident cats here. I think it would be best for Nillie to be in a cat free home.

Story
Say hello to Luna! She is a 3 year old Australian shepherd looking for her fur-ever home. Luna was surrendered to us due to reactivity and resource guarding. She will need an experienced owner who will be able to continue her training. She is super playful with other dogs and would thrive in a home with another furry friend. Due to her previous behavior issues, an ideal situation would be a single owner with another dog and a home / backyard. Lots of times will need to be devoted to making sure she transitions without any issues, so please reach out if you feel experienced in behavioral training and can be a loving leader for this sweet girl!
