How Charlie arrived: Charlie was brought in by a community member on May 2, 2026. Why Charlie is the one for you:Charlie is a wiggly, happy hearted pup who lives up to his name by being pure Charlie and charm, bringing sunshine to walks, errands, and just about any room he enters. He is wonderfully friendly with strangers and has even enjoyed tagging along to work, soaking up attention like it is his favorite job. At home, he is polite about potty time, coming to get you, and leading you to the door or posting up with an intense door stare, and he is a quick study with training cues like sit, lay down, and off, with stay and wait still in progress but improving. His energy is a nice middle ground: happy to play when invited, easy to power down when the fun is over, and always up for a good walk. Charlie loves car rides and may even rest his chin on your shoulder while you drive. A patient, understanding household that builds confidence and comfort gradually will help him thrive. Please bring a leash & collar when adopting. At SDHS:Charlie has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Charlie is now ready for his new home!
