Dobby is a very curious dog who is always eager to explore and learn new things. He is very loyal and forms a deep bond with his owner. Needs to be the only dog. Dobbie was an abuse case. Story
He is a very sweet and cuddly dog. He needs a lot of attention and space to run around. He loves toys and just chewing on things. Usually small objects that can be thought of as toys, wires and couches are safe. He is very smart, can be trained pretty easily. We just don’t have the time nowadays. I think with some more love and affection, he is anyone’s lovable pup.

Story
Harlow the 76 lbs lap dog! I said what I said, ok? Harlow is a 2 year old, male, Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Mix. This sweet, sweet boy is unfortunately, looking for a new home after his humans decided they needed a doodle type dog instead. Harlow is a loyal companion. He is affectionate and loves to kiss his foster mom and dad’s chin. He also LOVES dog friends and would be thrilled to have a playful canine companion in his home. Harlow is untrusting of kiddos and things like bicycles, etc. So, he’s looking for a kid free home – although he does grow deeply loyal to children he knows. They just need to be dog savvy. He enjoys taking sniff walks and responds well to redirection while on leash. At his prior home, Harlow jumped the split rail fence to play with the neighbors dogs. Because of this, we prefer a home with a 5-6 ft privacy fence. Harlow is house trained, crate trained, and did we say a lap dog? He has attended doggie day care and he LOVES it! He was shy and nervous with the staff at first but when they let him with the other dogs he lit up! He’s a goofy, silly, loyal, lovable companion that’s ready to move along to his true forever home. Harlow is in foster in Loveland, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/harlow You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.

Story
Meet Ludo — the underbite legend in the making. Named after the big, gentle, scaredy-cat monster from Labyrinth (with a massive underbite), Ludo arrived just as scared and unsure. His first time out of the kennel, he pancaked onto the ground so hard he practically fused with the earth. But wow has this kid come far. Ludo now follows me everywhere with a curious prance, sneaks cautious kisses, and will even settle next to me on the couch with his head on my leg — something I swore would never happen on day one. He wants to love humans so badly; he’s just still convinced sudden arm movements are assassination attempts. He gets most of his confidence from other dogs and absolutely adores them. He likes older kids too (hasn’t met younger ones yet) and is curious about every new thing — sometimes too curious. He’s an Olympic-level counter surfer, a shoe, pillow and christmas gift chewer (with a harmless underbite nip — his bottom teeth are for decoration only), and deeply suspicious of his own reflection. Also: certain men on TV. He LOVES snow (Texas lied to him) and after a few days of refusing the couch, he now considers it his throne. TV and mirrors still confuse him — but in his defense, his underbite is jarring. Potty training has been shockingly great, especially for a dog who once peed from fear. Walks started as full pancake mode, but now his tail wags and he tries very hard… even if he wraps the leash around every plant in a 10-foot radius. The kennel is tolerated only if he’s emotionally okay with the decision; if not, he produces the saddest, most wounded howls ever recorded. Ludo — Luey — Ludifer — is one of the best glow-ups I’ve seen. From terrified pancake to playful, goofy, wannabe-snuggler. He’s sweet, silly, curious, gentle, and so ready for someone patient who will let him bloom at his own pace. His story deserves a warm, safe forever home with a playful dog friend. Ludo is in foster in Longmont, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/ludo You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.

Story
Meet Wilson! He is an adorable puppy that is smart, and eager to learn. His birthday is 8/24/2025. He is sweet and affectionate and adores kids. He entertains himself nicely and responds best to praise!!!! He loves being a "Good Boy" He is crate trained and very routine. A good communicator and catches on to new tricks and puppy games quick. He sits, loves fetching a ball, cuddles and has actually been a sweetheart. He just needs a family and more people to love. My work has me being gone to much and this guy needs a family or good person to call his own.
