Dobbie, Heeler/Pit Bull, 1 yr., 35 lbs. Dobbie is friendly, smart, and high energy. He is a quick learner who thrives on positive reinforcement. Dobby is a very curious dog who is always eager to explore and learn new things. He is very loyal and forms a deep bond with his owner. Needs to be the only dog. Dobbie was an abuse case. He was abandoned and starving. After all of that he is still such a happy dog. Courtesy listing. Call Cindy 970-353-1385

Story
Cooper, Blue Heeler, 4.5 yrs., 40 lbs. Cooper tends to be shy at first but warms up pretty quick. He has a lot of energy and loves playing with Junie going on walks and exploring with her. He LOVES attention. He is a very loving and loyal dog with the silliest personality. I think he may be more human than dog. He gets along with other dogs but does take a minute to acclimate to them. He loves to give kisses (I think he was a lizard in his past life…hahaha). Junie, Australian Shepherd/Heeler, 4.5 yrs., 40-45 lbs. Junie is a very loving and loyal dog. She is the boss and loves keeping Cooper in line. She likes to go on walks and explore with him. She gets along with other dogs great, but she will growl when she has had her fill. She will not nip or bite. She is a bit more relaxed and laid back than Cooper, but still loves to play around with him. She also is a bit of an attention hog. She will stare through your soul until you acknowledge her. She is very in tune with human emotion and will snuggle with you when you are sad. She’s a very sweet soul. She also may be more human than dog. They are a bonded pair. They have grown up together and I would hate to separate them. They are soulmates and I would love for them to stay together. I understand that this is a lot to ask, but they are so worth it! We are having to re-home them due to a move across the country. This means we will be living out of a small camper and traveling all over the southeast. I don’t feel that this is a fair life for my pups to live. They love to run and play, and they wouldn’t get this freedom if they came with us.

Story
He is a very sweet and cuddly dog. He needs a lot of attention and space to run around. He loves toys and just chewing on things. Usually small objects that can be thought of as toys, wires and couches are safe. He is very smart, can be trained pretty easily. We just don’t have the time nowadays. I think with some more love and affection, he is anyone’s lovable pup.

Story
"Meet Frost — the cuddle bug adventurer with the world’s most expressive ears. If you’re dreaming of a one-year-old companion who loves both snuggling and exploring, Frost is your guy. We suspect he is an Australian Cattle Dog/Husky mix and his dad was very clearly a Jackal (duh those ears). When he gets excited, he does a happy little hop, which makes it impossible not to smile. Once Frost feels comfortable, his playful personality shines. He loves to romp in the yard, go on car rides, join you for adventures big and small, and then settle in close — very close — for cuddle time. This aspiring lap dog will happily lean on you, lay beside you, or drape himself right over you if you’ll allow it. Frost is friendly with all dogs — big, small, young, old. He is great meeting new people, house trained, and is perfecting his crate training. He’s the perfect mix of affectionate and fun-loving — the kind of dog who wants to be part of your life, your routines, and every adventure you’re willing to take him on. Frost likes to imagine himself leading a sled team one day, but for now, he’s content to follow you anywhere. If you’re looking for a cuddly, goofy, big-eared buddy who brings warmth and joy wherever he goes, Frost is ready to meet you." Frost is being fostered in Longmont, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.* You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/frost/. Story
Harlow the 76 lbs lap dog! I said what I said, ok? Harlow is a 2 year old, male, Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Mix. This sweet, sweet boy is unfortunately, looking for a new home after his humans decided they needed a doodle type dog instead. Harlow is a loyal companion. He is affectionate and loves to kiss his foster mom and dad’s chin. He also LOVES dog friends and would be thrilled to have a playful canine companion in his home. Harlow is untrusting of kiddos and things like bicycles, etc. So, he’s looking for a kid free home – although he does grow deeply loyal to children he knows. They just need to be dog savvy. He enjoys taking sniff walks and responds well to redirection while on leash. At his prior home, Harlow jumped the split rail fence to play with the neighbors dogs. Because of this, we prefer a home with a 5-6 ft privacy fence. Harlow is house trained, crate trained, and did we say a lap dog? He has attended doggie day care and he LOVES it! He was shy and nervous with the staff at first but when they let him with the other dogs he lit up! He’s a goofy, silly, loyal, lovable companion that’s ready to move along to his true forever home. Harlow is in foster in Loveland, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/harlow You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.
