Story
We got Pepper from a neighbors friend! She has been with us for about 3 months and is 7 months young. Honestly the only things we are looking for in a new home is someone who has the time to care for her and give her loving home. She is pretty calm for a puppy. She loves to run around and is very smart. She knows sit, lay down and paw so far. She makes weird little moans when she is tired which is adorable. She sleeps in her cage overnight and just needs to be let out after drinking and eating throughout the day. She loves toys and chew toys. We really love Pepper and believe this is the best decision moving forward. We feel she just deserves better. She is a bit shy around other people but opens up once she gets to know someone! I am currently working on her with her leash and harness to get her more comfortable on one.

Story
The Brush gang arrived at the Rescue from Brush, Colorado.  Animal Control had them for some time and could not find their forever families, so they asked for help.  They are a sweet, friendly group of cattle dogs, labs, and pit bulls.  They are a very energetic and happy group that can jump high; a large fenced yard or property would be great for Flowers.   Flowers is 3 years old and looks mostly Cattledog with her spots; she is spayed, microchipped, and current on shots.  She is kennel and house trained and knows the doggie door.  She has been in a foster home for quite some time; she gets along with other dogs and likes people.  She would do best in a house with active older kids that can keep up with her energy level. Please fill out an application at www.fureverdogdenver.com.  If you have any questions or want to meet her, please call (720) 588-6809. ##1788564##

Story
Rozata came to Soul Dog in October 2025 nursing four small puppies. She was extremely skinny, covered in scabs from sarcoptic mange, and very timid. She immediately went to a quiet foster home to raise her babies and get healthy. She has started to come out of her shell, turned into a beauty and is sure to become someone's beloved friend. She is completely housetrained, quiet, and loving. She has learned how to walk on a leash, and loves to just stand close to her humans and be fed treats. She has been around other dogs and kids and done well. Her temperament is quiet and gentle, and she may do best in a calm and adult household. She likely has not lived in a house as a pet before coming to Soul Dog, and will need a family committed to showing her all the ways of the world and helping her sweet nature continue to blossom with confidence. She is in a foster home, please apply on our website if you are interested in adopting her. Email adopt@souldog.org with any questions.

Story
Pretty as a picture, and marked with a white smudge upon her dark pointy muzzle is MewkleDreamy. Dreams as her foster family calls her is a little reserved at first meet but playful and sweet. She along with 10 other kennel / littermates were saved from Many Farms animal control off the Reservation at the end of November. Within the first day, her and her sister bravely started to open up in their foster home. Dreamy needs a gentle and playful doggie playmate in her new home to help her continue to grow in confidence along side a companion. She loves having her sister around but it would be in both their best interest to not adopt them together. Both girls are equally friendly with dogs of various ages, young kiddos and have not shown any aggression towards the indoor senior cat (cat and pup time is limited and always supervised). She has done well with “strangers” coming into her current home and although timid she does like to hang around with everybody. Tugging, munching on dried leaves, zooming around both home and yard, gnawing on chew toys are favorite pastimes. It seems like both girls prefer to potty outside and not within their sleep, eating and playing quarters (aka their puppy pen). MewkleDreamy likes to lounge on a soft plush dog bed in an open crate. She has started to hold her potty until taken outside, although both girls are still young puppies with developing bladders and accidents will happen. Watching for cues and using pee pads when playing around other parts of the home is still advised. She likes to alert with cries, howls, barks and banging on the fence when she needs to potty or wants to play so apartment living with attached neighbors is not recommended. She may be a little shy and may put up a little game of chase when it’s time to come in from playing outdoors but both are friendly, love to be held, happily accept pets and massages. To see pictures, videos and learn more about her or her sister (Merry Franceska) please visit dubl.f_foster.frens on Instagram. Submit your application now! It is free, no obligation and if approved will allow you to schedule a meet n greet with this adorable puppy.

Story
Franzi is a resilient and spirited young dog who has overcome a difficult beginning with grace. Rescued at 4 weeks old with facial injuries, she is healing beautifully and is expected to regain most, if not all, of her vision. At 16 weeks old, this Dachshund mix is a small firecracker who is full of personality. She gets along well with dogs of all sizes and respects the command to leave cats alone.Franzi is crate trained and uses potty pads reliably. While she is not yet a fan of walking on a leash, she more than makes up for it with her sweet and snuggly nature. She loves to spend her evenings on a lap and will bring immense joy to her forever home. She will be deeply missed by her foster family, but she is ready to start her next big adventure with a family of her own.
