Hi, I am Molly. I am a sweet and gentle little lady looking for a home. I like to cuddle and run around outside. I am a little shy but I warm up quickly. I can be sensitive and fearful around the vet so I would benefit from a fear free vet. I would love to meet you.

Story
Hi, I am Scrappy. I am a sweet and gentle pup looking for a home. I like to explore, chew on bones and take naps on soft beds. I can be fearful of new places and people so I need a home without children under 12 so I can warm up at my own pace. I need a home that has the patience and drive to work with me so I can warm up and become the confident and loving dog I know I can be. I would like to have a chance to be a part of your family.

Story
Meet Pumpkin! She is already a master of the full-body wiggle. Once you've earned her trust (with a few chin scratches), you'll be treated to a full dance performance! When it comes to socializing, Pumpkin is a bit of a wallflower. She's still finding her confidence and could use some patient humans who understand that good things come to those who wait. Pumpkin LOVES to play with other dogs, and would benefit from another confident canine companion in her new home, preferably one who will romp around, chase, and play with her. Given her shy persona, Pumpkin might need some time to warm up to smaller humans who may (at first) overwhelm her sensitive soul. Pumpkin thinks herself something of a food connoisseur. She loves the stinkiest delights - from wet dog food to moist training treats. And don't even get her started on crinkle toys - they're like music to her ears. While she's busy honing her herding skills, Pumpkin has been known to give the chickens in her foster home a run for their feathers. Therefore, we recommend a home without small animals (birds, rodents, reptiles, etc.) where Pumpkin can focus her energy on playtime with humans and confident dog companions. Pumpkin is very smart. She is already mastering the art of potty training and even knows how to ring a bell to let you know when nature calls. Pumpkin is excelling at kennel training and sleeps like a dream once the lights are off. If you're ready to welcome a wiggly, food-motivated, and crinkle-loving bundle of joy into your home, Pumpkin is waiting to wedge her way into your heart. Pumpkin is a 3-month-old mixed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog is current on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. This dog is good with other dogs, cats, and children. This puppy is working on kennel training, housebreaking, and house etiquette. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if it might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.

Story
Meet Bell! Such a sweet and happy girl! She's also the perfect medium size at right around 40 pounds! From Bell's foster: "Bell is a sweet, goofy girl who is loyal to her people. I did find out the hard way she is a bit of an escape artist, so a yard with a reliable fence is a must for this girl. Bell is still such a puppy and has so much energy, but once she gets better mannered on a leash, she would love to go hiking and be out in nature. We took her with us on a recent trip, and she did great in the car and loved when we were able to let her roam around. Bell has never met a stranger on a walk recently. An elderly neighbor wanted to meet her, and we are working on not jumping, so while walking up to the lady, I told her off, and she was very sweet with the lady. She is happiest when she is around people. I believe she would do best in a house with another dog close to her in size to have a friend and playmate. I don't have cats, so I'm not sure how she would do around them, but my dogs are small, and she annoys them at times, but that has more to do with the fact that she wants to herd them but hasn't ever been aggressive to them in a way that concerned me. Bell is very loyal, and I have caught her sitting in front of my doggie door at night, wanting to protect the house from the outside world." From Bell's previous foster: "Yesterday she went on an adventure. She walked great. She absolutley loves everyone she meets. Happy wagging tail all the time. We are working on "off" with her with other strangers (though truly she knows no stranger). She is so active and happy girl. I adore this little girls energy. She has been great at teaching her other foster sister manners with our personal dog. She has the best and most loving pitty energy. She is a great teacher towards her foster sister. This girl deserves such a great home who will enjoy her active and social energy." "I just wanted to send you another update on Bell. She is doing great! She is super comfortable in her crate and only barks for a few minutes before settling down. At night she sleeps wonderfully in the crate. She is a huge ball of energy and needs lots of mental and physical stimulation otherwise she can get destructive. I have noticed she has a really large prey drive so I have kept her away from the cat and would not recommend her to go to a home with small animals. She is also super, super strong and needs someone who is able to handle her strength. When she sees something on walks that she wants to get to it's difficult to stop her. Other than that she is a wiggly goofball and super sweet and wants endless attention from her humans!!! She is super food motivated making training her a breeze. I was also wondering if I need to bring her to the adoption event Saturday and how that would work. Thanks!! (Also some adorable pics of the baby)" Previous shelter staff notes - very sweet girl who loves to snuggle but also loves to play rough & rowdy. She could match energy with dogs, sometimes she was very playful running all over the place & at other times she sat & watched the yard. Mary arrived at our rescue partner as a stray with her puppy, Harold! Momma is now ready for adoption herself! From her foster: "Mary has been doing great! She loves to go on walks and stays right by your side. She's a big snuggle bug and has to be right next to you wherever you are. She is a little weary of men but warms up pretty quick. Story
Ani is a dog lover’s dream! She’s just under a year old, weighs just under 40 lbs, and is flying just under the radar and we aren’t sure why! Ani is believed to be an Australian Cattle Dog mix. She is SOOOOOOPER solid with her house training, she’s crate trained, and even dog door trained. Let me clear on the sooooooper part, she’s house trained even when the doggie door is closed. IDK about your dogs, but mine can’t do that. While she’s a beautiful girl, she leans more towards nerdy and tomboy type interests. Shopping isn’t for her. She does get super excited for car rides, but she hopes they end in doggie training classes. She’s a teacher’s pet for sure. She’s extremely food motivated and is fluent in 4 languages. She’s picking up Mandarin next. You know the type, book smart, street dumb? That’s kind of her. When she’s not busy solving the Pythagorean theorem, you can find her buried in blankets in her crate (much like one would expect from a giant chihuahua), playing with toys, or stealing your socks to add to her collection. Ani is great with a variety of dogs. While she’s agile and athletic, she’s fine with canine types that aren’t. She does prefer more mature humans, though. No small toddler types for her. She also is a great walker and would make a wonderful trail companion. Ani is in foster in Longmont, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/ani/.
