Good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Stripes is a 1 y/o (dob 8/20/22) neutered male dog. He is medium in size weighing around 35-40#. Stripes brindle color and body shape lead is to believe he is a Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, chipped, heartworm negative, and on prevention. Stripes has been around a 3 y/o child and did well but was a bit skittish of kid activity. Therefore, we believe Stripes would be more comfortable with older kids. He loves other dogs and plays well with others. Stripes knows to do his business outside and keeps the house and his kennel clean. He can be shy at first but warms up quickly. He does well with other dogs and they help him build his confidence. Stripes loves his human and likes to be close to them when he isn’t playing with other dogs. He does put himself in his kennel while his foster mom gets her work done. Stripes may take a while to warm up but once he's comfortable he's very loving. He is very loyal to his main human. He feels comfort in his crate and enjoys furry toys. Stripes is a laid back guy who loves nothing more than a cozy bed, belly rubs and human snuggles. Stripes loves car rides and does well just in the car and not in a crate. This sweet boy is looking for a caring home that will help him continue to build his confidence. He is being taken care of in TN but no worries because we use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

Esther is high energy and loves to play, but also loves her snuggles and to be with people. She has tested well with dogs and is currently untested with cats, but we can test if needed. Esther is heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for her new home. This furbaby is located at Animal Harbor in southern middle TN. You can apply at www.animalharbor.org . Meet Skit! He is patiently awaiting his new forever home and can't wait to see what his new life has in store. Here at the shelter, Skit seems to be at his best when he is hanging out with his favorite people. He also will never say "no" to a good old-fashioned walk where he can sniff to his heart's content. He was a little anxious when entering the hustle and bustle of the shelter environment but will likely show his more playful side when he settles into his new home. This guy is also very food-motivated and already knows some cool tricks. He will "sit" and jump in the air to catch treats tossed to him. He would love to work with you on more amazing tricks to impress any future party guests. In his previous home Skit enjoyed the company of cats and dogs and may enjoy having a calm and laid-back animal friend in his new home. Does Skit sound like the perfect pup for you? Ask to meet him today!Ideal home for Skit: - must meet dogs, can be overbearing when playing with other dogs

Story
Dodgel is a handsome Australian Cattle Dog Mix who, along with his siblings, has been under our care for over a year due to a now resolved court case. Despite their prolonged stay, Dodge and his siblings have maintained their lively spirits and are now ready to find their forever homes.Dodge is a dynamic and playful young pup. He is curious about the world around him and loves to explore his surroundings. Dodge is also quite affectionate and enjoys spending time with people, especially when it involves playtime or cuddles.Dodge is a smart dog who is eager to please. He has already begun learning basic commands and would benefit greatly from continued training to help him reach his full potential. Dodge is also a good jumper, so a secure yard or supervised playtime would be ideal for him. The shelter is willing to help pay for his training costs to ensure he gets the best start in his new home.Dodge would thrive in an active home with a family who can provide him with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He would do well with other dogs, as he enjoys playing with his siblings. Dodge`s new family should be committed to his training and socialization to ensure he grows up to be a well-rounded canine companion.Dodge and his siblings have been together for over a year and are very bonded. While they can be adopted separately, they would also thrive in a home where they can stay together and continue to play and grow together. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. To help speed up the application process, it is recommended that you complete the online application form found at the link below.https://animalcontrol.macombgov.org/AnimalControl-AdoptionApplicationMy adoption fee is $150
