Harry is a very loving and loyal dog. He will lay on the couch or bed with you and take naps or he will be more than happy to run outside and play fetch. He is a very protective dog with his family, he will let you know someone is at the door before they knock. He is wary of strangers but once he gets to know you, he will do anything for you. Harry loves going for walks, sitting outside in any weather (except the rain) but he loves snow. He is fully house trained, has never gone through the trash or even chewed up anything other than his toys. He really is a great dog.

Story
We found Acorn while walking our other dog by Temple area and she happily ran up trying to make friends. She ended up following us home and after looking for her owner for a month we found nothing. She is a very young and energetic dog who loves long walks and being around people as much as possible and while she is sweet she is very high energy and appreciates a living in a single dog household.

Story
Apollo is a ~16 month old Australian Cattle Dog mix. We adopted him from Philly ACCT last September. He was 25 lbs then, and they said he was close to full-grown, just under nourished. Today, Apollo is 55 lbs and we just don’t have the facilities to manage him in our center city home. But maybe you do? Apollo is a great dog, high energy, super intelligent and very loyal. He knows his basic commands, a few advanced ones, is house broken, crate-trained, vaccinated and microchipped. He loves to show off leaping to catch a disk, play tug-o-war and learning new tricks (as long as he gets his treats;) Apollo’s come a long way since being rescued but still shows some aggressive behavior, especially around strangers and food. We mostly keep him to his area when we have company and feed him in his crate. Apollo is also sensitive to loud noises and might appreciate being outside center city. If you’re looking for a very handsome loyal and winning cattle dog mix, Apollo is your dog.

Apollo is such a GOOD BOY, its not easy to write this up and eventually part with him. But he'll be a better fit in another home with yard space and a more active lifestyle. If that sounds like you, look no further. Apollo is a truly amazing dog. We adopted the handsome Australian Cattle Dog mix from Philly ACCT last Sept. He was 25lbs, and they told us they thought he was full grown, tho undernourished. Nope. Today, Apollo is an energetic 50+lbs of muscle, bigger than we expected or can handle in our city home. But his size is now stable, and he is in good health, neutered, micro-chipped, and vaccinated. Apollo is such a funny, sassy guy, and is the smartest dog I've ever known. He is crate-trained, leash-trained, house-broken, knows basic obedience commands (sit, down, come) and a few-not-so-basic ones (place, out.) He has come a long way since we adopted him but still has some habits we are working on such as food guarding and reactivity to loud noises and other dogs.

Playing with other dogs and having adventures in the great outdoors are two of my favorite pastimes. I am crate and play-pen trained. My potty training is also coming along well.
