Sadly this sweet innocent puppy was a victim of neglect and irresponsibility. However, this has not brought down his spirit one bit! Pongo’s eye was scratched by a litter mate, and regrettably this injury was ignored by the breeder. Eventually the eye became badly infected. Rather than having the damaged eye removed as was recommended, the breeder could not be bothered and instead left Pongo to be euthanized. Matchdog is so relieved and thankful that we were able to save him from this terrible fate. Having only one eye has not kept Pongo from being a happy, playful puppy who adores everyone he meets. It also won’t keep him from quickly and seamlessly adapting to new environments and people, which he has already done so well with. This courageous pup is a sweet soul who is guaranteed to give his furever family endless happiness and pure joy! Pongo is hoping to find the right folks who will shower him with love and provide the safe, caring home that he deserves.  Are you the one who will make this special boy's dreams come true?! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Flick is a 4 year old Catahoula mix! He is neutered, up to date on shots, heart worm neg and on heartworm, flea and tick preventative. Housetrained and good with other dogs. He is very strong, but walks great on a leash! Best in a home with older children and a fenced in yard is preferred. Flick loves his food so he is a little overweight and on a weight loss program. Hi!  My name is Clifford and I am looking for a forever home.  I was picked up as a stray by animal control and taken to a scary place called a shelter.  When no one came looking for me and my stray hold was up, I heard that I ended up on something bad called "the list" 'cause the shelter was so crowded.  Lucky for me, BCAA heard about me and said they would help me ... yeah!  I am about 3years old so past all of that puppy foolishness and weigh 22lbs and am at a good weight.  I appear to be a heeler mix and my foster mom says I'm super handsome with a beautifully tri-color marked coat.  I'm a friendly boy and love getting attention.  I have gotten along with all of the other dogs I have met and enjoy playing with them; so far I have ignored those things called cats.  I have done really well in my crate without any accidents or tearing up of any bedding although I would prefer to be out with you and will let you know if I see or hear you not to forget about me.  I have done pretty good on leash and enjoy going on walks.  If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at http://www.bcaaofnj.org.Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application!
