This friend has just arrived to us on transport from a high-intake shelter partner! When our friends are new to us, we are often unsure of their full background. Our staff will spend some time getting to know them and update their bio with more information as we learn. They are pending interactions with animals until they have been cleared by our vet. Please note that we often are unsure of house, crate, car, and leash training status upon arrival. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
Tessie is a one-year-old Blue Heeler with a big heart packed into a petite 20-lb body. Like many Heelers, she forms a deep bond with her person and loves being close — she’s the ultimate little “Velcro dog.” Her favorite things include outdoor adventures, chew toys, exploring the yard, and then settling in for a cozy couch nap with her favorite human. Tessie is incredibly smart and will quickly learn a new routine, but she’ll do best with a patient adopter who will give her a little time and space to settle into her new home. Once she trusts you, her loyalty is unmatched. She also takes her job as yard supervisor very seriously and has the cutest little sassy strut when she’s feeling happy. While she prefers being out and about with her people, she can stay in a crate when needed. Tessie would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a devoted, intelligent dog who will be by their side through life’s adventures. ❤️ If you think Tessie might be the perfect match for you, please apply at straynetwork.org #adoptdontshop

Story
Major Male Avail 5/4's Story Description of the Pet **Applicant Requirements:** -Be at least 21 years of age and the Homeowner or Rentee. -Households with children under 8 years of age, must have a physical fence attached to the home or an electric/invisible fence. However, there are other instances when a fence may be required for the safety of the dog or puppy. Name: Major Age: 2 years DOB: 6/22/24 Weight: 74 lbs Crate-trained: Yes PLEASE NOTE: To apply to adopt, the application and adoption process can be found on our website greenmorerescue.org. Please read dog's bio carefully before applying. Meet Major Major is a 2-year-old pup with a big heart and a story that’s shaped his gentle soul. He came from a difficult domestic situation and is now looking for the safety, stability, and love he truly deserves. At around 74 pounds (and working on a healthy weight), Major is a solid, medium-energy dog who enjoys the simple things—like exploring the world through his nose and taking in all the scents around him. Sniffing adventures are one of his favorite pastimes! Major is great with other dogs and tends to feel more confident when they’re around. He absolutely adores women and forms strong bonds with them. He can be wary of men at first due to his past home life, but with patience, kindness, and time, he’s able to warm up and build trust. Because of his past, Major is looking for an understanding home that will give him the time and space he needs to feel comfortable. He walks best with people he trusts, and that bond will come with consistency and care. A fenced yard would be ideal for him to safely explore, decompress, and adjust at his own pace. Despite everything he’s been through, Major is a total love bug who craves companionship, freedom, and the chance to just be a dog. At this time, a home without young children would be the best fit for him. Major has so much love to give—he just needs someone willing to meet him where he is and show him that the world can be a safe and happy place. Adoption donation is $425 cash, $450 credit, debit or Venmo. This donation includes a microchip. Another great reason to adopt form Greenmore….. Greenmore Rescue preforms the 4dx blood test on ALL of our adult dogs FREE OF CHARGE to adopters! This blood test checks for diseases such as Lyme and Heartworm Disease that are transmitted to dogs from a tick or mosquito bite. If the dog you are interested in tests positive for any of these conditions, treatment will already have been started or completed. Your Adoption Counselor will review any findings with you and we will provide all medical records, along with any medication the dog may need at the time of adoption. ***A NOTE ON BREEDS: The dog's listed breed(s) is the best assessment made by a veterinarian, pet finder or rescue staff and is not guaranteed. This pet is being offered by Greenmore Farm Animal Rescue, 246 Clonmell Upland Road, West Grove PA 19390 - PA Shelter # 8755

Story
Ashur has social and separation anxiety and allergies. He needs and deserves attention that I am not able to provide him. He has a lot of energy and loves to play. He needs a human that has a lot of patience and will love him unconditionally. He will surely return the favor. He loves to cuddle. While Ashur may not do well with strangers, once he is familiar with you (doesn't take long) he is a very loving, attached, cuddly 6 year old dog. 🥰I cannot give him what he needs and can't do this anymore. He is bored and lonely majority of the day being home alone for a minimum of 12 hours daily. I also learned the hard way that I am allergic to dogs. I will have to put him to sleep soon if I am unable to find Ashur a new home because I cannot find a shelter that will take him. Please help. He needs a new home as soon as possible.
