Story
Hey everyone, I’m “Roo”! That’s short for KANGAROO in Australia. Yeah, really!!! I didn’t get my name because I’m a crazy bouncy gal, but because of my, if you didn’t notice, BIG EARS!!!! KangaROO ears! I could almost fly with these things…. I’m a “7 month” FEMALE Cattle Dog mix saved by Molly’s in the nick of time. Yes, can you believe it, I was on my “3rd” rescue plea , last chance for my “Get out of Jail Free Card"! Or I’da been a goner, kicked the bucket, cashed out….! Sure was a close call, but I’m safe now and enjoying life! At a slight “21” pounds, I won’t be a big gal, other than my ears…. So guess I’d be considered a great LAP SIZE kind of gal! Maybe 30 pounds… maybe….. Initially shy at first meet, a fenced yard is needed for my safe keeping… but in no time flat, my true personality comes out and a Happy, Happy, Happy pup I become! If you didn’t notice, I’m definitely a “Looker”. Cute as a button, sleek, gorgeous color mix of brown, white, tan with black highlights and mascara trimmed eyes! Oh, don’t forget, such an expressive face to balance out my KangaROO ears. Who can resist? Cattle dogs are very intelligent, loyal and energetic people pleasing dogs that learn quickly.  Considered EXCELLENT family pets, we do love our people! Being a mix, I have not shown any herding tendencies, so I’ll be Easy Peasy to train! So get off your duff, jump out of that chair and get your application in for “ROO”, The KangaROO Gal” that will make your life an adventure filled with LOVE! PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. Macaroni is the last of his litter! I have so many videos of him, Facebook Won’t let us post pics and videos, so if you are interested just message us and we’ll send you videos! Macaroni is the one that is mostly black, his brother Rigatoni is in some of the pictures (he’s adopted already). Macaroni is a very sweet, very friendly pup. He’s social and likes people! He loves to be held and to be made of. He looks bigger in pictures than he really is. He currently weighs 24 pounds. He is great with other dogs, cats, and kids. His previous foster had cats, dogs of various sizes, and 3 kids. He loves to be outside. He is smart and playful. He tends to be the follower and his brother the leader. He is your typical playful puppy who will steal your shoes if you’re not looking He is crate trained and working on house training. He’s had some leash training with the kiddos in his foster home. Breed unknown but we believe Pit/Cattle dog mix based on the looks and characteristics of some of his siblings. Please note his breed is purely a GUESS based on looks. He is more than likely very mixed w/ several breeds.  He is about 3 months old (estimated DOB 1/1/25). He is neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. In New England To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Message us or email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any details questions. Story
Meet Freckles - she's cute, playful, and full of love! She is eager to please, and treat motivated. This friendly and energetic girl is a young adult dog with the energy expected of a Border Collie mix. Freckles is a bit more dominant with dogs smaller than she is, she wants to "herd" them so she would do best with dogs her size or larger, otherwise she would be great as an only dog. Freckles is a smart cookie who loves to explore, so she's looking for an active person or family who can keep up with her. She would be great as a hiking companion, or a dog you want to take with you on outings. -Freckles would do well with some additional training, she is very trainable. -SMART girl -Estimated to be a year old and in the 35 lb range -Not ideal for a home with young toddlers. If you're interested in adopting Freckles, please fill out an adoption application to get the process started! **********PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT FRECKLES ********** Please COPY and PASTE the following URL for the adoption application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FPSL/Dog COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. Please note that our animals are rescued and transported from South Mississippi where major animal overpopulation means less homes. We only transport them if adopted, in most instances, we can be available for a video call once an application has been approved. We are USDA certified, and WE PERSONALLY TRANSPORT OUR OWN adopted animals to meet their new families. We transport every 2-3 weeks. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, Microchip, heartworm tested, Mississippi Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you ***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not DNA test. We rescue animals from different situations. We discuss breed assignments with our vets to label them as accurately as possible.*** We are currently unable to adopt pets to ME and RI residents.

Story
Windy is going to be a whole lot of fun for some lucky family. She is VERY adventurous, VERY active, VERY outgoing and has a zest for life. She is a friendly and happy girl as well and seems to love everyone that she meets. She really enjoys the outdoors too, so if you need a hand with the cattle, a hiking partner or running partner, I think she’ll be a good one. Given her activity level, she will need to be adopted by a fun and ACTIVE family. Windy didn’t come to us alone either, she came with her four puppies, which have already been adopted. Now that she has fulfilled her motherly duties it’s her turn for a better life. She is 4-5 years old and weighs 35-40 pounds. She has been spayed, 4DX heartworm tested, microchipped, fecal tested and is current on all vaccinations, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400. Windy is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and her fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.

Story
Grantly is a loving giant! Once he learns to trust you, He just wants attention and snuggles all the time. He is 4. We are choosing by to rehome him because he deserves better. When we got him I worked remote and was able to give him the attention and exercise he deserves. I recently was expected to be in office 4 days a week for work and had 2 kids in the last 2 years and we just dont have the time to get him outside like he deserves. This is no fault of his own, we just want him to live a fulfilling life
