Story
Hi there! I'm Vixie, a super sweet and playful girl with a heart full of love! Don't you just love my adorable, big ears? I was rescued by Beagle Freedom Project after being found as a stray in a rural area with my siblings. All of my brothers and sisters have been adopted... I'm not sure why I haven't found an adopter yet; I really am the most affectionate girl! And I promise to be an amazing companion for my forever family. I'm one of the friendliest dogs you'll ever meet-- I adore people and other dogs, alike! I have lots of puppy energy, so I also love to romp and play. I'll do best in a home with another playful dog and a family that can give me fun outdoor experiences, like going on walks or playing in a yard! I'm the whole package; silly, sweet, loving, and cute! I hope an adopter notices me soon... could you be my forever family? If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/adopt/ Please email the Beagle Freedom Project Team with questions at: adopt@bfp.org. https://www.greenepets.org/adoptionapplicaiton.html Special Handler, Savvy Dog Owner Pistol is pure bred and requires serious training by his new handler, because presently he is making his own decisions about life. He is high drive, and serious, knows sit and when not distracted will come when called. He loves humans and doesn't jump on anyone, so hey, we are half way there... Video's will show why these are not dogs for small children.

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 8/20/24 Aldo’s ideal home has another dog for him to play with and/or a fenced yard where he can burn off some energy. A home without other dogs or fenced yard will still be considered! We just want the right fit for Aldo. He is half Cattle dog and demonstrates the cattle dog energy and traits. Aldo has been available since February and is still waiting. His foster family loves him but he really needs to find his forever home. Unfortunately the 6mo-1 year old dogs are just not popular among adopters. He is a really cool, fun dog. He is sweet and friendly. He loves people! If you’re looking for a playmate for your dog or if you need a buddy to join you on hikes, runs, or walks, Aldo would be a great choice! Facebook doesn’t like when we ask for S.H.A.R.E.S. But….they are very important in helping dogs to find homes. So if you all could do the thing facebook doesn’t like us to ask for…You never know who on your friends list may be looking for a dog. BREED A DNA test done on his sister shows he is 51% Australian Cattle Dog, 34% German Shepherd, 1% Collie, 1% Bohemian Shepherd, 8% Husky, 3% Chow, and 2% Chihuahua. He's about 40-45 pounds currently and we don't expect him to get much bigger. He is short and has the build of a Cattle dog. KIDS He recently met some young children when he was out for an ice cream with his foster mom. He was good with them though he does jump and may knock smaller kiddos over out of playfulness/excitement. He LOVES people! He’s also been good with 12 year old kids that he has spent time with. DOGS Yes, he is good with other dogs. He LOVES to play! He does play a little rough and needs a proper introduction. CATS Probably not. We think he’d be a bit too rough on cats and risk their safety. AGE Estimated DOB 11/1/23. OTHER He LOVES tennis balls He will entertain himself with them if no nobody wants to play. He usually brings them back if you throw them. He LOVES people! He is crate trained and very close to being house trained. He sleeps quietly through the night in his crate too! He needs work on leash training. He is a busy boy who will need someone to give him plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He has the Cattle dog energy. He hasn't been on a lot of car rides but has done well on the few he's been on. He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. In New England. To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion. Story
This girl is 26 pounds of energy and love. She had to be captured by the local animal control officer and was prettified. She was lunging and growling and very upset. But something in her eye just pleaded for me to help her. So I picked her up from the shelter and brought her home where George (our cat) helped me show her that humans and other animals are good. George helped her calm down and let her guard down and after about an hour she was giving me lots of kisses. She is hilarious and is definitely a lover. She may need a couple of minutes to feel safe, but once she does, she is glued to you. She is extremely smart, loves to go for rides, walks and hikes or any adventure (we went kayaking) She prefers not to be left alone as she does have some separation anxiety. This little girl is ready for her happily ever after. Please visit funnyfarmpets.org to read all about our TN based rescue and how the adoption process works. Her adoption fee is $325 and if transport is necessary that is an additional $200 We are hoping to find her someone local to TN. She is a special girl who will need a special mom or dad to navigate through her fears. I may end up writing a book about her as she has given me lots of great stories.

Story
Justice is ready!!!! He is 48 pounds of pure delight. He loves all people and all dogs. He loves kids and would love a fun active family. He loves to go for walks, hikes, swims and he loves to ride in the car or the side by side. He does chase the cows and horses so we don't recommend a home with anything he chases. If you have an adult dog and want another adult that will 100% get along, this is your guy. We think he was born about January of 23 so he is a perfect age. He loves to fetch and have belly rubs and is finished with that destructive puppy phase of life yet he has a puppy attitude. He is so very sweet and a fun guy. If you think you are fun and active enough for this guy you will need to visit our website at funnyfarmpets.org to read all about our rescue and how the adoption and transport process works and to submit the application. He is fostered in TN and will travel once his adoption is finalized. His adoption fee is $325 and transport is an additional $200. He is fully vetted, happy and ready to join his forever family. This sweet boy was found on the Supreme Court steps. Apparently he was seeking justice for his past treatment. He is badly scarred and very thin but oh so sweet and friendly. He is on antibiotics now and getting all the grub he needs. He loves other dogs and is very sweet and gentle. He appears young. Maybe about a year old. He is only 36 pounds now but needs to gain at least 10 pounds. He will be a perfect medium size dog who will be a great addition to almost any home.

Story
Age: 4 months Size: 15 lbs Estimated breed: Cattle Dog/Shiba Inu mix Update from my foster 5/30: Cali is such a sweet, fun, puppy! She was blessed with beauty and brains together - I call her my little red panda. She has picked up on potty training super quickly and sleeps through the night in her crate without any accidents. She absolutely adores other dogs and has the sweetest, most submissive approach to meeting new ones - she crawls up to them on her belly, tail wagging a mile a minute, with a nervous little smile on her face. She desperately wants to make friends with every dog she sees and is able to win most of them over with her winning approach! She’s best buddies with foster brother Jude and is quite the little spitfire, nipping at his heels and telling him off anytime he steals one of her toys. Cali is an absolute joy to have as a foster and will fit into any kind of home as long as they have a resident doggie friend for her to play with.   Cali and her siblings were found living on the streets of Texas, where homeless dogs are too many to count and shelters are already dangerously overcapacity. It's clear these puppies were born and raised as strays, as they were so shy and timid with people. Their luck turned around when good samaritans picked them up and kept them safe until we could fly them up to PA to begin looking for their forever homes!    Cali is around 11 weeks old and weighs 10 lbs. We are guessing she is a cattle dog/carolina dog mix, but since we don't know who her parents are we can't say for sure. Cali is a shy girl who is learning people aren't so scary. She's much braver than her brother Canelo and is helping show him the ropes in their foster home. She adores other dogs and will need to go to a home with at least one friendly resident pup! She loves to run and play with her doggie foster siblings in the yard and is discovering how fun toys can be. With time, patience, training, and plenty of love, Cali will blossom into a confident young girl!    To adopt Cali, please apply on our website! https://www.nirvanaanimalrescue.org/adoption-application   Please note we cannot guarantee the age or breed of any of our animals. All of our dogs are working on their crate and house training.   PA Kennel License #18366 July 30, 2024, 10:27 am

Story
Age: 4 months Size: 20 lbs Estimated breed: Cattle Dog/Shiba Inu mix Perfect home: Working breed experience, no kids under 12, no cats/small animals Update from my foster 7/29: Lucy is a proud graduate of a board and train program! During her time away, Lucy focused on learning foundational skills and general manners. She knows “sit,” “leave it,” and “go crate.” She’s also gained self-confidence and how to entertain herself , which is a super useful skill for a young puppy to have. Lucy is a social butterfly who loves meeting new people and playing with other dogs. She can be a little much for kitties and small dogs, so she’d do best in a home with dogs her size and larger! She loves to chill in the yard, soaking up the sun and chasing birds and butterflies. Playing fetch and playing with a flirt pole are also super fun and help satisfy Lucy’s prey drive and burn energy! Due to her prey drive, Lucy is not a dog who can ever be trusted off-leash, and will need a home either with a secure fence, or an owner committed to leashed potty breaks and daily walks. Lucy is such a sweet girl who can’t wait to show off her new skill with a forever family. She promises to repay them with tons of love, kisses, and fun!   Lucy and her siblings were found living on the streets of Texas, where homeless dogs are too many to count and shelters are already dangerously overcapacity. It's clear these puppies were born and raised as strays, as they were so shy and timid with people. Their luck turned around when good samaritans picked them up and kept them safe until we could fly them up to PA to begin looking for their forever homes!    Lucy is around 11 weeks old and weighs 10 lbs. We are guessing she is a cattle dog/shiba inu mix, but since we don't know who her parents are we can't say for sure. She is a little spitfire who does great meeting new people and adores playing with other dogs. She loves to run and play with her doggie foster siblings in the yard and is discovering how fun toys can be. Lucy can be stubborn and becomes frustrated if she doesn't get what she wants, so she'd excel in a home experienced with working dogs. She will thrive if given training, boundaries, and consistency while still young! Due to some of her herding tendencies, we feel she'd do best in a home without young children under 12 years old or cats/small animals. With time, patience, training, and plenty of love, Lucy will blossom into a confident young girl!    To adopt Lucy, please apply on our website! https://www.nirvanaanimalrescue.org/adoption-application   Please note we cannot guarantee the age or breed of any of our animals. Story
Hiya, I'm Link! A young boy like me is always ready for adventure, however I am looking for a partner that can take me through the serious training that I'll need in order to be adventure ready. As I was a stray, I can be a bit nervous with new people and I will let you know it. I'm not a fan of sharing my items and I'm picky with my dog friends too, although I may be good with the right one. I enjoy chin scratches and resting with my friends, but I don't enjoy cuddles. I'm looking for a home where all household residents are over 15, as I'm really looking for a family that is dedicated to making sure I succeed in my adventures. If you're interested in devoting time to have the best partner around, please stop by the shelter to meet me. ---This animal is available by appointment only. PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Scooter (she's a girl!)  This beeeutiful girl is looking for her forever home! Her name is Scooter and she is a blue lacy mix and weighs 48 pounds. She is about a year and a half old, spayed, updated on all of her shots, heartworm negative and on preventative, house trained, kennel trained, and great with kids! Her breed is a working dog. She would benefit so much if she had a job and training for that job. She is eager to please and highly trainable! She was found in April outside of city limits off of White Oak Crossing in Pulaski County and never claimed. When 4th of July rolled around she was petrified of fireworks. Only assuming here, but most hunters can't use a gun shy hunting dog. And maybe that's why she found herself in this predicament. She is an absolute dream in the house. She doesn't tear anything up, and doesn't get into any mischief when you leave. Unless you are just super dog savvy she would be best in an only dog home. I know that is a huge ask and an absolute needle in the haystack to find. My parents have graciously been fostering her and she has done spectacular in their home. They are creeping up on 70 and would love to get her in a home of her own. If you have any questions please reach out or if you are interested in meeting Scooter please let me know!
