Story
Devlin is a sweet and shy young lady who is looking for a home of her own! She came to us from a southern shelter so we don`t know much about her history, but she has been getting braver every day! Devlin loves to meet new people and hasn`t met a lap she didn`t try to climb into. She is super sweet and snuggly, but has been a bit overwhelmed by all the sights and sounds of her new environment. Since she can be worried in new places Devlin is looking for a family that can teach her about the world in a safe and fun way and go at her pace. Devlin seems to get a lot of comfort from other dogs and we think she would likely do best in a home with another social dog who can help her build her confidence! If you think this dog could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Boston Adoption Center. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm – no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available dogs. Preparing your home for your new dog or puppy ahead of time can help ease the transition for your new pet and set you both up for success should there be a dog that’s a good match! To learn more about how to make the first few weeks with your new dog or puppy the most successful it can be, please visit www.mspca.org/petresources. For more information on our adoption process, please visit https://www.mspca.org/adoption-centers/how-to-adopt/ Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they’re interested in - and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.

He is doing great being fostered with another dog and cat in the home and has fit in well with the pack. Pep would likely do well in nearly any home ready to give him all the love.He is a medium-energy pup who loves to stroll around the pond or hop in the car but is perfectly content to chill on the couch nearby. Pep gets along well with other pups and would do just fine with a canine sibling. He has interacted well and is respectful of cats’ boundaries, so he would do well with or without a cat in the home. His gentle disposition would likely do fine with kids in the home.Pep is smart and eager to please. He is crate trained and mostly potty-trained. He is crated occasionally during the day and overnight without any issues. Pep has had minimal accidents north and will continue to master potty training with time and patience. He is working on his leash manners and loves to explore the world with his nose, so he would benefit from an owner excited to continue his training as he navigates his new environment.Pep is an all-around great pup with an easy-going temperament- are you ready to call him family? Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. Story
Pringles is a senior pup looking for a quiet home to enjoying naps on the couch and slow walks to enjoy the outdoors. He is a shy boy that opens up after some time. Pringles usually finds himself connecting with a special person in his life. He is shy around other dogs and not much of a dog park kind of dog. Just too much for him and prefers the company of his favorite people. He is completely house trained, in good health, with all of his shots up to date, along with recent dental care at the vet. He is very food motivated, and loves pets and belly rubs. He can still move around well though his joints are showing age. Losing a few more pounds would certainly help that. So if you are looking for a kind older pup that loves to go on nice slow walks, of course car rides, and lounging on the couch with his forever family, Pringles is the dog for you!
