Story
Molly is the total package — brains, beauty, and heart. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t just hear you; she listens. She’ll tilt her head, lock eyes, and genuinely try to understand what you’re saying. Once you earn her trust, she becomes incredibly devoted and eager to please. She’s active and loves to stay busy, but she’s also content to relax once she knows she’s home. When Molly first arrived, she had a bit of wanderlust — curious about everything — but now that she’s settled into a structured routine, she’s blossomed. In a real home, she’ll be an absolute angel after a short adjustment period. She does best with someone who can give her company and consistency — she loves her humans so deeply that time alone can be hard for her.

Story
Meet Sunset – a stunning and intelligent Red Heeler with a heart full of affection and a thirst for adventure. While shelter life was overwhelming for her at first, Sunset has found her rhythm and for many of us, a volunteer favorite. These days, she lights up when it’s time for playgroups with other friendly, playful dogs, and she absolutely adores time with volunteers—especially if it involves toys or splashing around in the water.True to her breed, Sunset thrives on mental and physical activity and needs a home where she won’t be left alone for long stretches. She’s looking for a loving family, adult-only household (no children under 10, please), that can give her the structure, enrichment, and companionship she craves. In return, she’ll be a loyal, fun-loving partner ready to share every adventure by your side.If you’re searching for an active partner for hiking, running, and playtime, who also knows how to relax by your side, Sunset could be the perfect match!Est. DOB: 10/24/23 48 lbs. AAR does not transport for adoption.

Story
Heeler traits: independent, loyal/devoted, affectionate, strong work ethic Ivy was left behind at an apt complex and true to her breed, she was loyal enough to stay on the grounds for weeks evading capture. DJ Allen, the dog whisperer, came in and soothed her enough to loop her and stop her running. We were blessed to find a loving foster to allow her to decompress and now we can see how lovely a dog she is. She loves car rides, did well at the vet, was stoic while getting a public bath, and loves her little treat bites. Ivy is in a house with 2 adults, 2 children and 4 other dogs. Foster says she can usually be found in a quiet space or outside enjoying the sunshine. Rarely is there interaction with the other dogs, so Ivy would be great as an only dog. She would make a wonderful running or walking partner. Ivy is a tiny 43 lbs, thought to be around 3 years old, and is a quiet little girl. She has two eye colors, believed by Native Americans to see heaven and earth. She still needs to get spayed but get applications in as she will not last long.
