Abby has been with us for 15 years. We have clocked her running at 23 mph. She was a rescue. She is going deaf. She is the smartest dog I’ve ever seen. So she has adapted to her handicap super well. Her face and eyes will make you melt. Busy is a 4 year old Toy Australian Shepherd. We got her about 4 months ago from a man who could no longer take care of her. She is the absolute sweetest, but unfortunately she and one of our older dogs do not get along and have to be separated at all times. We think she would thrive in a one dog household. She was an outside dog her whole life, but is now living the highlife as an inside dog. She is fully potty trained, knows some basic commands, and is crate trained. She is an Aussie, so she will have periods of high energy, but we have found that she would choose cuddles over a game of fetch any day. She also loves looking out the window and really appreciates a good chew toy. We have gotten her spayed and vaccinated. She is heartworm positive, but is now on preventative medication. All she really needs is a forever family to love her as much as we do.

A family member took me in and cared for me, but they weren't able to keep me, so now I'm hoping to find a new family to love. I'll admit, I've been a little confused by all the changes. Sometimes new things make me a bit unsure, but I'm doing my best and taking things one day at a time. What hasn't changed is how much I love people. I love being close to my family, getting pets and affection, and just knowing I'm part of the pack. I'm housebroken, have good manners in the home, and do well with children.
