Hi, I am Shinzo: an 9 yr old, 50 lb male McNab mix. The first word that comes to mind when you see me is “REGAL”, being poised in my stature, walk and behavior, but you might catch me playfully hopping with my dog buddies When we first meet I need a moment to stand back to check you out just to determine if you’re friend or foe, but don’t worry…I’m a love bug after I’ve made my decision and see that you are worthy. I get along great with the dogs in my foster house, and I am great with kids. (Sorry, I don’t like cats though.) I prefer not to bark (even when others are) as I am too well-mannered, but I have a wonderful deep bark if needed. I already know how to use a doggy door and am completely trained to do my business outside. Unlike some of my herding friends, I’m not hyperactive. I do need room and time to exercise (wait till you see how good I am on a leash!) but I also enjoy a nice nap at your side. I might nudge you with my nose if I feel you’re ignoring me, but you’ll think it’s super cute. Don’t fret, this regal boy doesn’t require a throne...just a home and family where I can show you what a perfect dog I am to love and to love you.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
