Story
The dogs are sisters. They have been learning fast despite being a little stubborn due to being .25 German shepherd. They are very sweet and love to climb into your lap and snuggle with you. They will play with kids, but don’t like to have their faces smothered. I tug on their ears and tails, so they are used to that. Their biggest issue is that our yards fencing is not quite adequate and they will force their way under to chase wild rabbits into the neighbors yard. Unfortunately our neighbor is not dog friendly, nor has the patience to wait for them to be trained and had called animal control before I was able to fix the situation. The risk of additional fines or worse, having the dogs taken, is too great.

Story
Est. DOB: 05/19/2023 Current Weight: 59lbs Adoption fee: $175 (Adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate current vaccines, microchip, and preventative flea treatment.) Meet Daisy Jayne! Daisy Jayne is a beautiful Blue Heeler with the intelligence, energy, and devotion the breed is known for. She was originally adopted from Sunny Sky's Animal Rescue three years ago and has returned through no fault of her own. While she did well with the family's male dog, her natural herding instincts led to conflict with another female dog in the home. Daisy has also lived successfully with a cat and has been wonderful with children, making her a loving and well-rounded companion for the right family. She is deeply devoted to her people and loves being included in whatever the day brings. Whether it's hiking a new trail, exploring the outdoors, playing in a large yard, or simply spending time by your side, Daisy is happiest when she's part of the action. As an active working breed, she'll thrive in a home that can provide regular exercise, mental stimulation, and opportunities to put her sharp mind to good use. Daisy would do best with an active family that understands the characteristics of herding breeds. A home with a male canine companion—or as the only dog—would likely be her ideal match. If you're searching for a loyal partner who will be your biggest fan, adventure buddy, and constant companion, Daisy Jayne is ready to start her next chapter with you. Come meet this incredible girl and see if she's the missing piece your family has been looking for! Apply today! https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SSAR/Dog Disclaimer: Please note that dogs in a rescue environment may behave differently than they would in a home setting. While we do our best to assess each dogs habits and behaviors, we cannot guarantee that any dog is fully potty trained or will not have accidents after adoption. Changes in environment, routine, stress levels, and transition into a new home can all impact a dogs house-training habits. Patience, consistency, and continued training may be needed as the dog adjusts to their new home. Breed descriptions are provided as a general estimate based on the dog's size, shape, and appearance. These descriptions are not definitive and should be considered a "guestimate." Since we cannot always know the exact breed mix of our rescue animals, the information provided is simply an educated guess. Story
Romina’s story almost ended before it truly began. 💔 She had very little time left when we came across a random post and knew we had to act immediately. That moment of urgency is what saved her life. Now, this 3-year-old mini Aussie mix is getting ready for a brand-new beginning — she is being fostered in Des Moines, WA, thanks to one of our dearest adopters who opened their home and heart to her. Romina is active, playful, friendly, and incredibly smart. She loves puzzles, enjoys walks, rides and water! She does great on leash, is potty trained, and is an all-around fun, sweet companion. She would thrive with another dog friend to help release her energy and with a family who has the time, space, and commitment to fill her days with love and care and take her on adventures evrywhere! She was given a second chance just in time — now she’s waiting for her forever. If you feel a connection, send in an application and let’s see if you’re her perfect match. ✨
