Good with kids, Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Sedona is an adorable and social 3 year -year-old red heeler/cattle dog mix, approx. 45 lbs. Sedona loves exploring the wilderness, playing with her friends, and giving lots of kisses. She is vaccinated, spayed & microchipped. Sedona has lots of playful puppy energy, but also loves a good nap (or 5) throughout the day. She loves playing with other dogs, but struggles with common herding dog reactivity, mainly towards unfamiliar people. The lifestyle she is currently in is not ideal for a herding dog so we are seeking a more appropriate and safe home for Sedona. She is an absolute sweetheart with her humans. She is very good at home, extremely smart and gentle & playful. With people outside of her main people, she requires slow, gentle introductions & attentive supervision. Sedona generally takes a while to warm up to strangers, but once she does she is such a lover and your friend for life. Sedona is a very smart dog that just has some extra needs & would do best with a family who understands her breed and has patience for her anxiety. Sedona has not been exposed to cats yet, and she tends to be more comfortable with children than with adults. She is very smart and currently knows the commands; sit, lay down, touch, paw, den (kennel), bed, inside, outside, toy, woah. She is still working on stay and heel (loose leash walking). Located currently in the Seattle area and ready to meet. If you are interested in knowing more about Sedona, please text or call Cylver at 651-280-9224 or email cylver1@live.com and please include your phone number. Thank you for your interest in this wonderful and very special girl!

Story
Strykar was a puppy of an accidental litter of our family doggy that we tried to keep with us, because of moving we are only able to have 2 dogs at this home and unfortunately Strykar is no longer happy in this environment because it is nearly impossible to have 3 dogs here and they all get the same amount of exercise and love. We have been doing our best ! Its in the dogs best interest to find a home that can focus on him and give him the training that he needs. He is a great dog and so loving, a little on the nervous side but he is only 9 months old. We want someone to adopt him that has dog experience and the ability to give him lots of love and attention.

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Xanthi was found abandoned in a cardboard box with her sibling in Guadalajara, Mexico when they were about 3 months old. They were saved by a good Samaritan who called our rescue group for help. Since then she has been vetted, spayed and temperament tested. She is a very loving, playful happy-go-lucky pup. Loves to play with the ball, be around other dogs and people. She hasn't been tested with cats. She is good in the car and learning her way on the leash. She would make a great addition for an active family that has the time and commitment for her. She needs daily exercise and would do well in a garm or with a very active family, preferably with knowledge and experience with cattle dogs. She is being fostered in Snohomish, WA and is ready for a family of her own.

Story
Nacho was rescued as a stray in Guadalajara, Mexico. He was bleeding and in excruciating pain due to a cancerous mouth tumor. After 7 rounds of chemo, he made a full recovery. Cancer left a small hole in his palate, which doesn't affect his life quality or normalcy. He only needs a raised bowl to eat. He is a wonderful, happy dog who enjoys walks and being around people and other dogs. Would do best with someone that can dedicate him time and take him on adventures with. He is affectionate, balanced and a joy to be around!

Story
Woody is a super cute Australian Cattle Dog. He knows some commands and has crated well in his previous home. He absolutely loves treats and loves working on training with his handlers. He's very affectionate and friendly with his people. Woody has some typical cattle dog tendencies such as wanting to herd and chase people and animals. We think he would do best in a more rural home setting where he has some space to run and isn't overwhelmed by city life. If you're interested in meeting Woody, please visit the shelter between 11am-5pm Friday-Wednesday.

Cassidy

Australian Cattle Dog

Female, 10 mos
Auburn, WA
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Cassidy is the silliest girl! She approx 9-10mo old and weighs 35lbs. She is a very happy, wiggly, friendly girl that wants to greet and cuddle with everyone she meets. She is also a very active girl so she must have an athletically active home that will exercise her on a daily basis. Lots of long distant walks and hiking would be ideal. Once she’s a little older, she will even be a great jogging partner. Cassidy thrives on her doggy playtime every day and if she could, she would spend hours at a time running and wrestling with her pals. She would do best with another medium to large size dog in the home. Cassidy still needs lots of training, but she’s such a smart girl, she learns new things very quickly. She is crate trained and needs just a little more help with house training. A home with a doggy door would be great! Cassidy must have a fenced yard. Even though she gets along with children, with her exuberant personality she may knock over the little ones so kids must be over 10 yrs old.
