Story
Scout is an almost 2-year-old Red Heeler. He lives with my elderly father, who is being forced to give up his baby due to where he lives. He is unfit to properly take care of this dog in the small house/subdivision he lives in. He has one week to find a new home, or I don't know what will happen. No rescues will help due to a history of aggression, in which only two biting incidents were reported. 1) was for a stranger grabbing his collar, and 2) was when Scout was tangled around a railing, and my dad was trying to help get him free. Scout loves to be petted, go for walks, and play with other dogs at the dog park. He deserves a better life with a yard where he can run and a family that can give him the space, exercise, and training he deserves.

Story
6 months old Neutered male 28 lbs. Has done well with other dogs No known experience with cats or children More information coming soon! The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.July 25, 2024, 6:10 pm
