Basic Information Other Female 2 years old 40 lbs. Brown eyes Black-White-White fur coat Important Notes About Morticia Possibly good with dogs and cats Good with kids over 10 years old High energy level Special Training If adopted, Morticia will come with a six session training package to successfully transition to home life. More Info Hello, my name is Morticia, and I am a young mixed breed looking for a new best friend! I am believed to be part cattle dog because of my medium size and exuberant personality. I was surrendered because I tried to herd people at my previous home, so I need someone who can give me an outlet for my energy. I am eager to please and happy to work—just give me something to do! While I have some issues getting along with children and small animals, I get along really well with other dogs. I thrive in an environment where I can engage in activities that challenge my mind and body, whether it's learning new tricks, playing fetch, or going on long walks. I have a strong desire to bond with my human companions and show my love through enthusiastic kisses. I may want you all to myself, but with some guidance, I can learn how to share my affection. If you’re looking for a devoted and energetic companion who will fill your days with joy, we’re a match made in heaven!

Story
Are you looking for dog who is the perfect mix of snuggly and playful? Lucy is a 25 pound adorable heeler mix who absolutely loves her people and lives for pets, cuddling on the couch, going for walks and playing fetch! She has been in her foster home for several months and quickly learned the house rules and has been a wonderful houseguest. She can be trusted outside of a crate when you are gone and she is housetrained. She is a great walking buddy and gets excited the second she sees the leash come out. Although she is young (1 and a half), she isn`t hyper and loves to cuddle up on the couch with you. She is dog selective but tends to do well with dogs smaller than her, and has been excellent with the senior dog she lives with in her foster home. No cats for this girl as she likes to chase them. Lucy is SO smart, incredibly food motivated, and super eager to please. Perfect candidate for training and she is a fast learner! She can be nervous of new people coming into her home, but she is learning to be more trusting and with proper introductions and treats, she warms up quickly. She would do best in a calm, adults-only home where she can get plenty of affection and attention (she loves the spotlight!). Lucy is an absolute sweetheart and whoever adopts her will be so lucky to have her love! You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about me on our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/JrsPupsNStuffInc Ask to meet me today!!Adoption fee: $475All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. Story
My name is Hukarere, but friends call me Zaya! I`m a super sweet energetic girl, and I`m house-trained and crate-trained. I love to make new friends and make my people laugh! I do great with other dogs. True to my breed, I like to herd people, and would do best in a home without young children. I`m looking for a family who is dedicated to helping me through some anxiety and can love me for my quirks! Please check back for updates as my foster family gets to know me. Story
Hi, Im looking for my forever family! Im a fun, energetic pup who loves to play, go on walks, and run around the backyard. Id be a great fit for an active person or family who can keep up with my adventurous spirit and give my smart brain new things to learn. Ive had a loving start to life, but my first owner had to make a tough choice and help me find a new home. Now, Im staying with my amazing foster, Ms. Mara, but Im ready for a place to call my own. I may be a little shy with new people, especially men, but once you earn my trust, Ill be your loyal friend for life. If youre looking for a playful, devoted companion, I might be the perfect matchplease give me a second chance at a fresh start! Story
About Me: Name:  Halston, Halyn, Hazen, Hammy Breed (or best guess):  Cattle Dog/Terrier mix is best guess Approximate Age: 6 months Gender: Male/Female Approximate Weight: 16-24 lb on 5/3/25 Adoption Fee: $495 Requirements: Loving Family Why In Rescue: Texas transfer Profile:   This adorable 4 pack came from our Texas Rescue Partner who rescues dogs from animal control facilities in rural Texas where a dog's only chance at a family is to find a rescue to take them in.  Halston (solid black male), Halyn (black/white female), Hazen (Brown/Black male), Hammy (black/white male) are all littermates even if they look like they came from different litters.  They are happy, playful pups who love attention.  They are being treated for tick disease with Doxycycline, and if not finished with the treatment, will go home with their remaining medication.  We don't know what their breed is, and it is possible they had different fathers, so your guess is as good as ours as to the breed.  Be prepared for an active puppy if you adopt one of these great pups. If interested in one of the pups, the first step is filling out the pre-adoption application at  http://www.bichonrescues.com/pre-adoption-form-dog   If link isn't clickable, please copy/paste or visit  http://www.bichonrescues.com .  Please note, filling out inquiry forms on Petfinder or Adoptapet and/or their application forms does not constitute an application for one of our dogs.  Priority in responding to inquires and applications is always to the applications filled out on our website, time constraints limit the number of other inquires we can reply to. We do our best to evaluate the dogs while they are with us, but they sometimes act different in the shelter environment than they do in a home.  Many times we do not know the actual breed/mix or age of the dog, in that case we use our best guess as to breed and age.   We are located in Mukwonago, WI.  Adopters must come to us, we do not ship our dogs.  Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to adopt.  Once an application is approved you will be notified by email to make an appointment to meet the dog.  All dogs are seen by appointment only. The adoption fee through Bichon and Little Buddies Rescue is $495 for most adults and up to $650 for puppies which includes Wi State Sales Tax.  Included in this fee is your new companion who will be spayed/neutered, have a current Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (as required by state law), current on age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm tested (if old enough) and started on preventative, microchipped, and given a general wormer.  Other medical needs will also have been taken care of, such as dentals and treating ear infections.  To assist you and your new pet in adjusting to life together, you may chose to take an 8 week age appropriate obedience training course at For Pet's Sake Dog Training in Mukwonago, WI for $100 (up to $260 value).  You may opt to take Puppy Kindergarten, Adult Beginners, or Small Dogs Big Hearts.  You must register for the class within 90 days of adoption for the reduced fee.  For more information on the classes visit www.forpetssake.cc  More important information: ***We are a Wisconsin based rescue and do not ship our pets.  If you are considering adoption you must be willing to drive to meet and adopt the pet, as well as bring the pet back to us if the adoption doesn't work.  We adopt primarily in WI and IL, but will consider applicants in MN, IA, and MI.*** ***Please do not set up an appointment to meet the animals until you are ready to take your pet home.  If the meeting results in a match, you can often take the dog/cat home the same day or within a couple days if the medical care hasn't been completed.  We are not able to hold pets for adopters beyond this time.  Thanks for understanding.*** ***While we hope all of our adoptions lead to permanent homes for the animals we place, sometimes things just don't work out.  We do have a 30 day trial period.  For the first 30 days, if you or Bichon and Little Buddies decide that the adoption isn't a good match for either the humans or the pet, the adoption fee will be refunded minus $100 within 30 days of the return of the dog.  Bichon and Little Buddies also requires adopters to return the pet to us at any time that they are unable or unwilling to care for the animal anymore.*** ***We do not show dogs without an appointment.  The first step in adoption is filling out the pre-adoption application at http://www.bichonrescues.com/pre-adoption-form-dog  Please do not call/email until AFTER you have filled out an application.*** Bichon and Little Buddies is a State Licensed Rescue # 268555-DS May 26, 2025, 2:42 pm
