Basic Information Other Female 2 years old 40 lbs. Brown eyes Black-White-White fur coat Important Notes About Morticia Possibly good with dogs and cats Good with kids over 10 years old High energy level Special Training If adopted, Morticia will come with a six session training package to successfully transition to home life. More Info Hello, my name is Morticia, and I am a young mixed breed looking for a new best friend! I am believed to be part cattle dog because of my medium size and exuberant personality. I was surrendered because I tried to herd people at my previous home, so I need someone who can give me an outlet for my energy. I am eager to please and happy to work—just give me something to do! While I have some issues getting along with children and small animals, I get along really well with other dogs. I thrive in an environment where I can engage in activities that challenge my mind and body, whether it's learning new tricks, playing fetch, or going on long walks. I have a strong desire to bond with my human companions and show my love through enthusiastic kisses. I may want you all to myself, but with some guidance, I can learn how to share my affection. If you’re looking for a devoted and energetic companion who will fill your days with joy, we’re a match made in heaven!

Story
Ginger is a 9 mo. old Cattle Dog/Red Heeler mix who was adopted from PAWS in June of 2025. Unfortunately, the family cat is not doing well with Ginger so they are hoping to find a cat-free home. Ginger would do best with another dog in the home with a fenced in yard. She is full of spirit and adventure, has completed 2 puppy classes, knows many commands and is an AKC Puppy Star. She loves her kiddie pool in the summer but also loves snow! Due to her herding nature, we prefer a home without small children. Ginger is housetrained and crate trained. We are looking for an active home as Ginger is an active dog needing daily exercise and is eager to learn. Please submit an application at pawshs.org and NOT a Petfinder inquiry as they may not be answered due to the volume of these inquiries received. Our adoption fees include the cost of spaying/neutering, vaccinations (including rabies for cats / dogs over 4 months of age), flea prevention, worming, FeLV/FIV testing, heartworm test for dogs over 1 yrs old, and microchipping. The location of our Adoption Center PAWS at 7282 N. Cherryvale Mall Drive . Check out all of our adoptable dogs, cats and kittens on our website at www.pawshs.org. Story
Meet Clarke, the calm, clever, and charming member of our Stranger Things crew. This male heeler mix puppy came to us as part of a local unwanted litter here in Wisconsin, and he’s now thriving and ready to find a family to love. Clarke is a pretty easygoing pup who enjoys playtime but also knows how to settle. He’s been doing wonderfully in his foster home, where his caregivers have been especially impressed with his excellent temperament and adaptability. He takes new experiences in stride and is a joy to have around. He does great with other dogs, kids, and cats, making him a fantastic fit for many types of homes. Like any puppy, Clarke will thrive with a family committed to continuing his basic training and structure, helping him grow into a confident, well-mannered adult dog. If you’re looking for a puppy with a steady personality, a playful side, and a whole lot of heart, Clarke might be your perfect match. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. Story
💙 Meet Pebbles – The Blue-Eyed Beauty 💙 Pebbles is a 2-year-old Blue Heeler who came from the Juneau County hoarding case, and she’s nothing short of stunning — those striking blue eyes are impossible to forget! This sweet, affectionate girl is playful, smart, and full of love. She adores attention and enjoys spending time with people who will shower her with affection and mental stimulation. Pebbles is a quick learner and thrives with positive reinforcement and gentle guidance. While she’s friendly and loving, Pebbles can get overwhelmed by other dogs, so her forever home will need to be carefully matched — ideally with calm, confident canine companions or as the only dog in the household. With the right environment, she will thrive and show off her full playful and loving personality. Pebbles is ready to share her heart and loyalty with a family who will appreciate her intelligence, her beauty, and her gentle spirit. 💖 If you’re looking for a devoted, clever, and affectionate companion, Pebbles is ready to meet you! All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. Story
Meet Tabitha! This adorable little girl has been in Wisconsin now for nearly a year :( We've learned so much about her during this time we just know the perfect home is out there for her! She prefers the company of women, and love to hang out with other dogs. Shes quite the snuggler in bed if you let her sleep with you, or she's totally fine hanging out with other dogs to snooze. She enjoys her time outdoors and does best in a home with a fenced yard. She currently is in a foster home on a farm and enjoys all things farm related! Tabitha will do best in a home with herding breed experience! She might need more than one meeting to warm up to you, but once she does, you are her friend for life! Please help us find the perfect home for Tabitha! She's one of a kind! **Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states. Adoption fee is $350 unless otherwise noted above. Puppies under 1 year of age accept application for families with children over 6 years of age for large breeds and over 8 years of age for small breeds. Since they are still puppies, dogs under 1 will require a basic obedience and puppy training class, and spay/neuter at the owners expense.
