Story
1 year old Neutered male 45 lbs. Medium/high energy level Potty trained Knows "sit" and "paw" Seems to like other dogs Can live with kids of all ages Cannot live with rabbits or other small animals Looking for an active adopter I'm a 1 year old mixed breed boy who may be part Cattle Dog or other herding breed. I am very smart and have an affectionate and playful personality. I have a super sweet disposition and adore being petted and cuddled. I'm also potty trained and very food motivated. I have lots of playful energy so daily exercise is a must for me, and I'm best suited for an active individual or family. I know the commands for "sit" and "paw" and I hope my adopter teaches me more! I love other dogs and enjoy running and playing with them at the dog park. While I do love other dogs, I cannot live with rabbits or other small animals. I'm approved for families with respectful children of all ages and am looking for an adopter who can commit to me for the rest of my life. If you're ready to make me part of your family, I'm ready to be the best dog you'll ever love! NOTE: Mochi loves other dogs but cannot live with rabbits or other small animals.   Check out my video at https://youtube.com/shorts/d3qdg0FMU_g The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.May 27, 2023, 11:17 pm

Story
2 years old Neutered male Medium/high energy level Sweet and sensitive Potty trained World champion at fetch  Seems to like female dogs Can live with kids of all ages Looking for an active adopter I'm a wonderfully sweet boy who absolutely loves people and affection. I can be shy at first, but once we get acquainted I'll put you on my list of best friends! I am very intelligent, well mannered, and playful. I'm also potty trained and know the commands for sit, down, and paw. I'm a world champion at fetch and will perfectly retrieve a toy and set it at your feet, then patiently wait for you to throw it again. (I love fetch so much that my adopter should probably have a "chuck it"!).  :D  I also enjoy squeaky toys and jolly balls. I seem to like most other female dogs, and I display typical herding breed tendencies in large dog groups (meaning I try to herd everyone together), so I'm better suited for smaller groups of dogs. As a herding breed I have lots of energy and need an active adopter who will give me daily exercise. Walking, hiking, running, whatever your favorite activity may be I'll be thrilled to join you! My past life was not ideal so it would be amazing to live with someone who truly loves and cares about me. I'm approved for gentle and respectful children and will be a fantastic companion for an attentive adopter. If you're looking for a smart, sweet, and fun companion, I'd love to be part of your family! The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Male mixed breed puppy Can go to his forever home after being neutered on May 17 Approximately 8 weeks old, weight 15 lbs. Playful, friendly, active Needs lots of attention Approved for families with respectful children Currently in a foster home so an appointment is required to meet him** I'm a chonky puppy whose mom is a heeler or hound-type mix and dad is a complete mystery. At 8 weeks of age I already weigh 15 pounds, so I could be a big boy when I grow up! I am playful, active, and friendly, and I still have that awesome puppy smell.  :)  I'm approved for respectful children and need an adopter with plenty of time to raise, train, and socialize an energetic pup. Keeping me on a consistent schedule and rewarding me with praise and treats will help with my potty training.  (When do puppies need to be taken outside? After they eat, after they sleep, and after they play!). With a loving and attentive adopter, I can grow up to be an amazing companion and family member!  **NOTE: I am currently in a foster home so an appointment is required to meet me. Story
Meet Bailey! *Bailey's adoption fee has been sponsored by Forever Home Real Estate. Hi, I'm Bailey. I'm a bit nervous about meeting new people, but I warm up very quickly, like in less than an hour! The best thing is, after I get to know you, I promise to love you unconditionally. I’m around 9 years old, which is still middle-aged for a cattle dog, my foster mom says! I’m also pretty compact at under 30 pounds – a great size if you need to pick me up for some reason. My foster mom says it is best to get the description of my challenges out of the way first, so here we go! I’ve had a bit of a rough go of it, through no fault of my own. I had a medical event best described as a seizure when I was still down south. The vet here thinks that is what gives me tremors when I get excited. My back end is a bit less coordinated than it once was due to what happened. I need to go out to pee every 3 or so hours but am a pro at pee pads if you are gone for longer. None of this has slowed me down, though. I also have a tooth the vet says may need to be pulled at some point, but that it is fine for now. Last thing, I like to tell stories, as in I can be a bit barky. The foster humans are helping me channel my excitement that compels me to bark and will happily share what they are doing to help me on that front! But this means no apartments for me single family homes only. Now that that is out of the way on to the great stuff about me! I have the most adorable under-bite you can imagine! I also make the cutest noises when I am getting pets and belly rubs. I'm house trained and put myself to bed at night when I get tired and stay there until morning. I've tested all the soft places and dog beds at my foster home, and I prefer sleeping with the humans. But I am fine with a nice dog bed or the crate. I get along famously with other dogs, no matter the size, cats are great too! I currently live with two other dogs and am really hoping to get adopted to a home with a fur sibling to keep me company. Living with little kids wouldn't be great for me, as they make me nervous, but respectful teenagers who can give me endless love and don't have lots of friends coming in and out? Yes, please! I love to go for walks and go to my leash to let you know when I want to go. I also go to the back door and lie down to let you know I need to go out. I am great at fetch and love a good trip to the dog park, too! I'm a very smart girl and can shake hands with both paws. I love belly rubs and will bury my head in your arms to show you how much I love you. I enjoy going for car rides, and I would be a great travel companion. I'd love it if my forever family found me soon, so I can start settling into my new home! Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is sponsored. Of Agriculture License Number: 474085-DS Disclaimer: It is VERY difficult even for a veterinarian to tell the exact age of a dog over two years old. From one vet to another, we can get different age estimates on the same dog and they can vary by several years. We are only making an educated guess based on a few factors like teeth, fur color, and overall body condition, but for dogs who have not been given adequate vet care and food, it can be even more difficult. Every dog is an individual, and we do our very best to age appropriately but make no guarantees as to the age of any dog in our program.

Finn is a sweet loving boy, who loves to tennis balls and to be loved. He's my best friend but due to circumstances, I can no longer keep him. He loves to swim, play with toys (even though he likes to rip them up right away ;) ), play catch, he'll be your best friend and protector. He can be aggressive, so he needs someone who can be really patient and loving and work with him. He also has anxiety, but hey, who doesn't, right? He loves to talk, especially in the mornings, he'll let you know when he's hungry by pawing his bowl around and will even do it just because ;) He deserves the world.
