Hi, my name is Aunt Daisy. I am from Georgia. From her foster: Aunt Daisy is a calm and gentle dog who is happiest lounging around the house with her people. She is the perfect blend of couch-potato cozy and occasional adventures. At home, Auntie is a dream. She is respectful of furniture and happy to stay off the couch if you prefer, though she will want to settle in nearby. She appears to be crate trained but has not needed it during her stay with us as she has behaved herself. One of her cutest quirks is her love of carrying toys around the house. Auntie would thrive in almost any family. She’s gentle with children, friendly with other dogs and cats. She doesn’t mind being handled, snuggled, bumped, or having her paws examined. Her sweet, steady temperament makes her a great fit for a busy household or a quiet one. From the Vet: I am currently being treated for heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious so your resident pets are not at risk! The treatment for this is 3-4 months long and requires a minimum of 3 appointments and strict rest/restricted activity. My adoption can take place during treatment, while TBB manages the financial responsibility of my heartworm treatment at The Bond Between Vet Center. Any other medical care needed outside of the specific care covered in the contract disclaimer, would be the responsibility of my new family. After heartworm treatment TBB will agree to cover 1 dental COHAT procedure + 1 round of medications and 1 recheck appointment associated with surgery as determined necessary by The BB Medical Team. This surgery should be scheduled by Aunt Daisy's adopters no sooner than 30-40 days after completion of her heartworm treatment and no later than 6 months post adoption.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Rza pronounced (Rizza) is a 39lb spayed female who is about 5 years old and waiting to be your best friend! She is a wonderful companion dog - loving and devoted to her people. She loves cuddling on the couch and will sleep with you. Rza is just a charmer with extremely soft fur and a cute smooshy face and beautiful deep brown eyes! Rza is generally a pretty calm dog most of the time - and like many of us in the winter time, is a little "fluffy" right now from too many treats. Rza is fully potty trained and lets you know when she needs to go out with a couple special barks. She loves eating grass in the summer and relaxing in the sun, taking breaks to roll in the fresh smelly lawn. On colder days, Rza loves laying on her bed in front of the heating vent in the winter and playing in the snow. he likes being brushed and loves lick mats. She loves tug of war and fetch for about 10-15 minutes at a time, then she takes her ball away and chews on it. She is food motivated except on walks or when she is a little nervous. But oh, does she love walks! Rza's foster is working on her barking when she sees another dog on walks. She is very clumsy and will accidentally knock children over - so no small kids would be best! Rza came from living outdoors in North Dakota where she was attacked several times by packs of dogs twice her size. Because of this, she is dog selective and would prefer to be the only pup in the home - she won't be a dog you can take to a dog park or a brewery. However, she can play with single dogs her size (40 lbs) who are used to a rougher play style, but occasionally will become overstimulated so play should be supervised at all times. There's the chance that she may be able to live with an older similar sized calmer dog. Rza does have resource guarding with toys and food, which is another reason why she might be happier as a solo dog. From Sneaker's Foster mom: I have a never-ending list of wonderful things to say about Miss Sneakers! First and foremost, she is incredibly sweet and responds wonderfully to training. She’s not only treat-motivated, but also thrives on praise—which is so easy to give, because she’s truly a good girl. She’s completely potty trained and adapts well to both a house or apartment lifestyle. Sneakers already knows several commands: sit, lay down, off, wait, and—of course—“good girl.” She’s gentle with her toys and prefers stuffed animals over puzzle toys. Her favorite snacks are biscuits, bully sticks, and meat treats—though she’s not a fan of peanut butter. She gets plenty of exercise with 2–3 walks a day (plus some running!) to help burn off energy. Behavior & Socialization: Sneakers is considered reactive, meaning she gets nervous around new people and may bark to try and keep them away. But in the short time I’ve had her, she’s already shown amazing progress with consistent, positive exposure—especially in outdoor spaces like parks, where she can take things at her own pace.
