We recently started fostering Kash, and are trying to find him his forever home. Kash is a 10-year-old, 37lb Australian Kelpie mix who came to us after a heartbreaking situation — the dog he had lived peacefully with for years suddenly became aggressive towards him, and his mom made the incredibly tough choice to rehome him so he could be safe. Kash is a very sweet boy. He’s potty trained, walks well on a leash, calm in the car, and content staying home alone. He’s independent but loves affection, and he’s been wonderful with our dogs — even our rambunctious 1-year-old heeler puppy. You may notice some wounds in the photos from where he was attacked, those are now fully healed. Kash deserves a loving home for his golden years. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-maintenance companion, Kash might be your guy!

Stella is a friendly, 6 month old, full of energy girl puppy. She is potty trained and on a schedule. We go to the dog park twice a day to run and play. She loves it outside so she can run and play with other dogs. She loves the water and would go swimming if you take her to the lake or river. Her preference is to men. She has also been training in a cage/kennel and leash. ( still needs work but getting there) Just make sure to have chew toys 😊😊 Her favorite treat is milk bone dog biscuits.

Meet Chelsea! A spirited three-year-old Kelpie/Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog mix currently in Denver, CO, whose tricolor coat comes wrapped around an adventurous athlete, devoted cuddle buddy, and exceptionally clever companion. At about 45 pounds, Chelsea has the makings of a four-legged Olympian! She loves balls, tug, fetch, swimming, car rides, and just about any adventure where she can stretch her legs and put that busy brain to work. She has even taken a few flights! Give Chelsea at least an hour of daily exercise, mental enrichment, training, and a dependable routine, and she is ready to be your enthusiastic teammate. After the action, Chelsea knows how to switch gears. She settles beautifully, enjoys lounging in the sunshine, rarely barks, and loves cuddling with her favorite people. In fact, multiple pet sitters have said she is the easiest dog they have ever watched, which says a lot about how nicely she settles into a routine! She is crate-trained, house-trained, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and wonderfully cooperative at the vet. This smart girl already knows an impressive collection of cues, including sit, stay, leave it, drop it, back up, and several others! Chelsea thrives with structure and bonds deeply through activity, training, and routine. On walks, she can pull or become very excited around some dogs, sometimes lunging or spinning. Consistent positive reinforcement and giving her space from passing dogs help her succeed. While Chelsea enjoys one-on-one play with many dogs, large groups, excessive barking, doggie daycare, and dog parks can make her uneasy. Smaller, quieter canine companions may be more comfortable company. Her compatibility with cats has not been fully assessed, particularly because she may chase outdoor cats and other small animals. Calm, respectful older children are a good match. A secure yard with a 5- to 6-foot fence would give this speedy athlete room to move safely. Off-leash adventures should wait until her recall has received additional training, especially with tempting bunnies nearby! Chelsea needs an active, dog-savvy family or individual ready to combine adventures with affection, guidance, and plenty of snuggle time! Kiwi is an amazing pup! We are needing to find her a new home due to incompatibility with an elderly member of our home and by no real fault of her own. Kiwi is a fast learner and will adapt to a new home quickly.We love her very much and are committed to finding her a good home.She sleeps well out-of-crate, on a dog bed in our personal room but may want a crate if not kept close by. We have not tried keeping her crated as there has been no need to. She is house-trained and almost fully trained on chewing only toys/bones of her own. Loves running, great exercise partner.Has not yet been spayed.We will send her to her new home with all toys, bones, harness and food that she has available
