Story
Loyal and loving companionMeet Piper – Sweet, Smart & Ready for Her Forever Home Piper is a loving, 5-year-old mixed-breed girl weighing 50 pounds, and she's looking for her forever family. Rescued after being abandoned at a dog park in poor condition, Piper has come a long way—blossoming into a loyal, affectionate, and incredibly smart companion. Piper has completed basic obedience training and we are now working on leash training. She knows all the essentials: sit, stay, lay down, leave it, and she has excellent recall. She's also fully potty trained and patiently sits while you place her food bowl down waits for a release command before eating—what a good girl! While Piper can be a little shy at first, she warms up quickly to new people in a home setting. Piper is a mix bread girl but with a personality of an Australian Shepherd or Cattle Dog smart, loyal, and full of heart. Piper would do best in a home without cats, she has done well with older kids. If you're looking for a devoted adventure buddy and a snuggle partner who will reward your patience with endless affection, Piper is your girl.  Check out Piper's videos: https://youtu.be/bcT5b2m90ek https://youtu.be/GwoQpSCIRSI For more videos and photos for Piper check out her social media on TikTok, YouTube and instagram @PawsNthegarden Age: 5 years old     Weight: 50 lbs   Temperament: Good with dogs and kids.   Training: Crate-trained, house trained, knows commands Vetting: Spayed, up to date on vaccines, HW negative For questions about Piper, please email: morgan7728@gmail.com  &#226&#128&#139 To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Story
Hi everybody, this is Hazel—because she has the prettiest, most expressive Hazel eyes.  She is a sweet girl who is both highly alert and intelligent. She gets along well with other dogs but is wary of new people choosing to study them closely before. Her foster mom says that letting people prove that they are trustworthy is a good policy. Hazel is a high-energy dog who is also quite affectionate when given the time and opportunity to bond with deserving people. Toys and playtime are more important to her than treats, so she needs someone who has time to throw a ball for her. She is SO much fun! Hazel is up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped and on prevention.  ##1402505##

Border Collie

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet Bellz! 🐾 Bellz is an 11-month-old Border Collie with a spunky personality, a loyal heart, and brains for days. True to her breed, she is incredibly smart and highly food motivated, which makes her a great candidate for continued training. She is crate trained and mostly house trained, and she gets along wonderfully with other dogs—especially if they’re ready to play! This girl lives for fun. Bellz will happily play fetch all day long and is especially talented at catching a bouncing tennis ball mid-air. Once she’s comfortable, her energetic and playful side really shines. Bellz can be a very shy at first. New people and environments make her nervous, and she will slink low to the ground and stick very close to the person she trusts most. But don’t let that fool you—she is incredibly loving to her people. She just needs a little time, patience, and reassurance to build confidence for you to be that person. She is wary of strangers and she will warn you if a stranger approaches your home. Your space is her space after all. She would thrive with an owner who is committed to continuing to work on her socialization and with taking her to new places with lots of positive interactions. She enjoys going to new locations with her people and she thrives with training! Because of her sensitive nature, Bellz would do best with a dog-savvy family, ideally someone familiar with herding breeds. She will need a securely fenced yard where she can safely run, play, and burn off her energy. She is still working on her leash skills and does best in calmer, controlled environments with someone she trusts. Bellz LOVES kids and gives the best kisses! Once Bellz bonds with you, she bonds hard. She’ll want to be as close as physically possible—curled up beside you, pressed against you, or gazing deeply into your eyes with her intense (and slightly hilarious) Border Collie stare. It may be a little unnerving at first, but it’s pure love. Bellz weighs about 45 pounds and is nearly full grown. We’re unsure how she does with cats. Bellz came from a home where she had some early socialization but then spent much of her time outdoors without continued exposure. Because of this, she’s looking for a patient, committed family who will help her continue to grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a fun, loyal, and deeply devoted companion—and you have the time and experience to help her thrive—Bellz just might be your perfect match. If you’re looking for a gentle, food-loving corgi who will reward your patience with devotion and cuddles, Ana might be your perfect match. If you are interested in adopting Bellz, please fill out an application at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAY/Dog **Applications can take anywhere from 5-7 business days to complete.
