Story
Rehoming this sweet boy. He’s 5.5 months old, born 11.27.24. His dad is 100% ACD and mom is 50% poodle, 50% Australian Shepherd. A mutual acquaintance of mine got him right at 8 weeks but unfortunately was in a car accident a week later and was unable to care for a puppy. I was so excited to for the chance to adopt him and at the time I was working exclusively from home, so I thought it would be the perfect situation for training and bonding with my puppy. About a week later though, my dream job almost fell into my lap, but it requires me to be gone 10 hours minimum a day Monday through Friday and frequently requires travel on the weekends. I’ve tried my hardest for almost 4 months to make this work, but unfortunately I just can’t give this dog what he needs right now and as much as it breaks my heart to let him go, it is more than my mental and physical health can handle trying to juggle this new job with training a puppy.

Story
Phoebe is an almost 5-year-old Australian Shepherd/Pitbull mix. She's loving, energetic, and loyal. I adopted her in 2021 from Forsyth County Humane Society in Cumming, GA and we live in Atlanta, GA. I'm devastated to say that I've gone through a life change that no longer allows me to give Phoebe the time she needs and I'm eager to find a new owner who can. Phoebe would thrive in an active home with a yard; she loves to run and exercise. She does have some anxiety, which is something that her new family would need to be mindful of. She does well with routines and consistent training, and a home where she can feel secure and loved will help her settle in and build trust. I have worked with a behaviorist before and can share contact info to continue training if desired. She can be reactive towards other dogs and would thrive in a single pet home. She loves to nap, play, run, and knows basic commands. She is crate trained and house trained. Happy to answer additional questions.

Story
I adopted Bella when I lived with my wife, now we are separated and I don't have time for my work to take care of her, she is a very loving puppy, active and loves toys. I'm giving her up for adoption because I don't have the time she deserves to be happy, she spends a lot of time alone. She has her bed, water and food dispenser, food, toys, everything, you don't need anything to have it.

Story
Meet Nero! Nero is a purebred Australian Shepherd with an "Off" switch. If you know Aussies, you know those don't come around very often Nero was surrendered by his family when they were no longer able to provide the wonderful life he deserves - they loved him enough to let him go so he can live his best life! We were told that he had been a service dog for a family member with some mental health struggles, but to our knowledge he isn't actually trained to perform any specific tasks for his handler - which is what defines "service dog". We think he was likely more of an emotional support animal. Knowing his personality, this is definitely something he would excel at! Nero is looking to join a tried and true Aussie loving (breed experience preferred) forever family where he will get to spend most of this time with his chosen person. His spectacular manners mean he is a great dog to take to all of the dog friendly public places Interested in adopting Nero?
