Story
THE FLUFFIEST BOY! Scrappy is 9 and a half months old and is looking for a forever home! His momma is a 70 pound Husky mix and his dad is an Australian Shepherd mix. He is good with other dogs and with dog savvy cats. He is crate trained and partially housetrained. He loves to play with toys and to go swimming. He is a momma's boy and gives hugs. Scrappy has not been around kids yet (he has grown up with teenagers), but we think that he would do well with older kids. He just came to us, so we are still getting to know him. Scrappy is overweight and will need to go on a diet! Not all of him is fluff! He is being neutered on March 5th and will be able to go home with a family once he has healed. If you are interested in adopting Scrappy, please fill out an application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAY-A-7493 **Applications can take anywhere from 5-7 business days to complete. When filling out an application, please check for a confirmation email to be sure that your application went through. We respond by email, so please check your spam and trash folders. If you need to reach us regarding your application, the best way to contact us is through email.** We are located in Fayette County, GA and are a foster based rescue without a shelter building.

Man&#197&#141 is a little pistol of a pup.  He was surrendered to a Good Samaritan who already has too many surrendered dogs. She would love for him to find a home that has time to work on puppy training and socialization. Man&#197&#141 is located in Tignall GA where there is no formal animal control facility and very little help for homeless pets. Please be willing to meet in the Athens or Madison, GA area -- which is about halfway between here and their foster (who cares for many and can't be too far from home base). Age: 5 months (as of 9/1/23) Weight: 15 lbs (as of 9/1/23) Training:  crate-trained.   Vetting: Neuter will be part of adoption agreement, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm testing at 6 months.  Email for questions: messparker@gmail.com   To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review.
