WHERE ARE OUR BASKETBALL FANS?! Here at RMG we are HUGE fans of the Atlanta Hawks and are already gearing up for pre-season to get underway in about 6 weeks! One of our recent additions is especially excited! Asa, named after Asa Newell UGA alumni and current Hawks rookie and first round draft pick, is a gorgeous Australian Shepherd/Catahoula Leopard dog mix who is about a year old. Like his namesake, Asa is young, energetic, and LOVES playing ball! Although our Asa does prefer tennis balls to basketballs. Aside from being fun and incredibly handsome, Asa is also super loving and crate trained! He would truly make an amazing running or hiking partner and will thrive in an active family! So can we find Asa his person in time to be able to catch the season opener in his very own Forever Home? Lola is a very sweet puppy and loves cuddling. She has plenty of energy and loves to run. She is about 8 monthes old and is for the most part potty trained when in a schedule. I am a college student and feel like she deserves a home that can give her more attention and take her outside to play more than I can on a daily basis. I have the adoption fee at $300 because I will also be giving her cage, food, and loads of toys away with her.

Snickers is a sweet, smart Aussie Shepherd mix who has been with us since she was about six months old. She was adopted from the Humane Society and has spent most of her life in a loving home. Shes a little over seven years old, spayed, and around 46 lbs. Snickers is affectionate and loves cuddling on the couch with her people. Shes playful, very intelligent, eager to learn, house-trained, and crate-trained. She enjoys having structure, engagement, and a job to do, and she thrives when working with someone who understands dogs and enjoys training. Snickers would do best in an adult-only home with an experienced dog owner. She is used to being a single dog in a home with a yard and does best with calm, confident handling. She has some resource and space guarding tendencies and is not a fit for homes with children. She can become anxious with medical-type handling or physical restraint and does best with patience, clear boundaries, and a handler who respects her signals.

    Meet Tommie Truffles I’m Tommie Truffles—but my foster mom sometimes calls me “Truffles” (or “Trubbles” when I’m being extra silly).  But don’t worry because I am as sweet as my name - I’m more sweetness than trouble! I’m about a year and a half old, around 50 pounds, and finally looking and feeling my best after a tough start in life. Now I’m clean, fluffy, healthy, and soaking up every joy of puppyhood for the very first time. I’m a playful, curious, and smart boy who thinks sticks, stones, and pinecones are life’s greatest treasures. Most of all, I love people—my tail starts wagging the moment I see a new friend. I know “sit” and am learning more every day. Sometimes I still bounce with excitement, so I’d do best in a home without very small kids. I’m energetic, funny, and a little stubborn (in the most charming way), which means I need someone who will keep my mind and body busy. I walk nicely on a leash, ride calmly in the car, and even hang out quietly at my foster mom’s office. At night, I’ve graduated from the crate to the bed, but when left alone, crating is still best for me since I’ve got that puppy spark.
