Story
Kelly is energetic and such a loyal guard dog. She loves howling with the train that goes by our house and LOVES playing fetch. I've never had issues with her and people, only with her and other animals such as cats and dogs. She needs a yard to run around in because even though she is about 5-6 years old, she still has a lot of energy. We are unsure what breed she is but we think she may have some blue heeler or Australian Sheppard in her, maybe. Unfortunately, we do not have time to spend with her and she has been becoming more territorial with her things and not being nice to our older dog. She really needs a home where it's just her and no other pets. She might make to be a nice herding or hunting dog, if trained right. She is super intelligent and will let you know when something has come into her yard that shouldn't be there. She likes to herd us while playing soccer or running around outside.

Story
Cobalt is a one-year-old, 32-pound Hound/Aussie mix picked up as a stray at a local shelter. He was lucky enough to find a foster and has done well at their house. At first, he was a little shy, but her dogs quickly pulled him out of his shell. He is crate trained, housetrained, and ready for his new forever home. If you would like to foster to adopt Cobalt, please go to www.atlantalabrescue.com to fill out an application. FROM THE FOSTER:  Cobalt is learning not to jump, but the off command still needs work. He walks well on the leash, and he wants to please. Cobalt responds to his name, ALWAYS! He does okay at the dog park as long as there are not too many dogs. If there are too many dogs, he does not feel comfortable and usually sticks to chewing his toys. We don't crate him, but sometimes he goes into the crate and plays by himself. He sleeps in through the night in his bed in our bedroom. He is unsure in strange situations and will hesitate and observe. Then after encouragement and repetition, he will try new things. ##1340101##

Story
Personality/Energy Level: David is a very energetic and playful puppy who loves to run, jump, and play. He has a lot of energy and enjoys going on long walks and exploring his surroundings. He can be a bit mouthy and playful with his humans, but with proper training and redirection, he can learn to curb this behavior. Behavior with Cats, Other Dogs, and Children: David may not be suited for a home with smaller dogs, cats, or children under the age of ten. He can be a bit rough when playing and may not understand his own strength. He may be better suited for a home with older children or as the only pet in the home. Skills/Crate/Potty: David is a young puppy and is still learning basic obedience and housetraining. He will require patience and consistency from his new family to help him learn these skills. He has had some experience with crate training and is getting better at spending time in his crate. Likes/Dislikes: David loves to play and be active. He enjoys going on long walks, playing with his toys, and spending time with his humans. He may not like being left alone for long periods of time or being confined to one place for too long. Medical: David has been checked by a veterinarian and is up-to-date on his vaccinations. He has not had any major medical issues or injuries, but he will need to continue with regular veterinary checkups to ensure he stays healthy. ##1696137##
