Story
Meet Pharro 🐾 Pharro is a double merle Australian Shepherd who is fully deaf, but he does not require any special medical care or accommodations beyond patience, consistency, and an active lifestyle. He is around 11 months old, highly energetic, intelligent, playful, and full of personality. A couple originally posted him in the Ring Community because they were no longer able to care for him. They gave him to me completely free, including his crate, and I have had him for the past four months. Pharro is best suited for someone with land, a large fenced yard, or an active lifestyle. He loves being outdoors and does not do well being confined for long periods of time. I currently work full-time, and unfortunately I cannot give him the time, stimulation, and space he truly needs. He is still young and does have puppy behaviors. He is a heavy chewer if left unattended and will chew items left within reach. He also barks while in the crate, especially when bored or needing more activity.

Story
Loyal and loving companionMeet Piper – Sweet, Smart & Ready for Her Forever Home Piper is a loving, 5-year-old mixed-breed girl weighing 50 pounds, and she's looking for her forever family. Rescued after being abandoned at a dog park in poor condition, Piper has come a long way—blossoming into a loyal, affectionate, and incredibly smart companion. Piper has completed basic obedience training and we are now working on leash training. She knows all the essentials: sit, stay, lay down, leave it, and she has excellent recall. She's also fully potty trained and patiently sits while you place her food bowl down waits for a release command before eating—what a good girl! While Piper can be a little shy at first, she warms up quickly to new people in a home setting. Piper is a mix bread girl but with a personality of an Australian Shepherd or Cattle Dog smart, loyal, and full of heart. Piper would do best in a home without cats, she has done well with older kids. If you're looking for a devoted adventure buddy and a snuggle partner who will reward your patience with endless affection, Piper is your girl. Check out Piper's videos: https://youtu.be/bcT5b2m90ek https://youtu.be/GwoQpSCIRSI For more videos and photos for Piper check out her social media on TikTok, YouTube and instagram @PawsNthegarden Age: 5 years old Weight: 50 lbs Temperament: Good with dogs and kids. Training: Crate-trained, house trained, knows commands Vetting: Spayed, up to date on vaccines, HW negative For questions about Piper, please email: morgan7728@gmail.com To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. September 3, 2026, 2:32 pm

Story
Hi, Im Apollo!

Im a sweet, silly, super-smart guy who believes every dog I meet could be my new best friend. I LOVE to play, chase is my favorite, but Im always up for a little wrestling, too! Im very respectful of other dogs and have made friends with pups of all sizes. I currently live with a 9-year-old bulldog mix, and we spend our days playing and our evenings relaxing together on the couch. I take corrections well and understand when another dog needs some space.

I can be a little shy when meeting new people and may take some time to warm up. If theres a dog around, though, Im much more confident and will happily say hello to my new dog friend first before introducing myself to their human.

Im housebroken and have a great mix of energy. I love going on adventures like hiking, exploring, and splashing around in streams, but Im equally happy taking a long nap on the couch with my people or dog buddy. Im also incredibly curious and intelligent. I learn by watching the humans and other dogs around me, and if theres cheese involved, Im an especially quick student.

Speaking of cheese... its probably my favorite thing in the entire world. Ive even learned where my foster family keeps it! Im still working on my manners around the kitchen, but Im a fast learner and now patiently wait outside for my chance at a cheesy treat.

I do have some anxiety, especially when Im alone, but Ive already made so much progress and Im working hard on feeling safe and confident. Im looking for a patient family who understands that settling into a new home takes time and will continue helping me build confidence. Having another dog in the home would be a huge bonus for me-I really, really want a dog buddy!

If youre looking for a playful adventure partner who can also happily curl up on the couch afterward, I might just be your guy.

p.s. I qualify for Welcome Trial, which means you can take me home for up to 14 days to see if we are a match before making things official.
