Luckily, he is with K-9 Lifesavers now and is hoping to find a home where he will be loved forever. He is a very nice boy, but was very scared being in the shelter. All George wants is to have his home life back again with someone who cares. He is a smart fella and already knows some commands - sit , down and come. He loves his toys and affection from his people and will do best with older kids. He is also house and crate trained, but he is not always a fan of his crate and will let you know. All in all, George is a sweet boy who deserves a loving home, so why not fill out an application today and consider sharing yours with this lovable guy.Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
