This handsome fellow and his siblings came in to rescue last winter after they were dumped on a back country road. Their mother was found deceased, so we took the puppies in to try to save them. They were very sick initially but are very healthy now. Big boy is a gentle boy but does love to run and play with other dogs. Big boy was the largest of the puppies, but his siblings have caught up to him. He has done amazing with his house and crate training. He is so deserving of a wonderful home to call his own. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. It is with heavy hearts that we have decided to find a new home for our beloved Australian Shepherd. We are a family with four children, and as the kids have gotten older, their schedules have become increasingly busy with school and activities. We have realized that we can no longer provide our dog with the time, attention, and exercise that an energetic Australian Shepherd needs and deserves. He is a sweet, loyal boy who has grown up with our four children and is wonderful with kids. He is naturally shy around new people and may take a little time to warm up, but once he trusts you, he is affectionate and devoted. We are looking for a loving family or individual who has the time, patience, and energy to give him the life he deserves. She is about 11 weeks old. This sweet puppy is young and smart! She is young enough to make friends with all dogs, cats and kids! Because this is a young puppy, the adopter must be home during the day to continue training and socialization and help the puppy grow into a confident, well-adjusted dog. This puppy has age-appropriate vaccines, is microchipped and will need to be spayed/neuter at 6 months of age. The Adoption Fee for this puppy $400.00 plus a $100.00 spay/neuter refundable deposit. ***Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, s/he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or Town homes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until s/he is 16 weeks old*** ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered.
