Story
This handsome fellow and his siblings came in to rescue last winter after they were dumped on a back country road. Their mother was found deceased, so we took the puppies in to try to save them. They were very sick initially but are very healthy now. Big boy is a gentle boy but does love to run and play with other dogs. Big boy was the largest of the puppies, but his siblings have caught up to him. He has done amazing with his house and crate training. He is so deserving of a wonderful home to call his own. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. Please email us for the link to the adoption application (His adoption fee is only to cover transport and health certificate to travel to another state.)

Story
Sydney is an 8 year old female Australian shepherd, german shepherd, and staffordshire terrier mix. Looking for a calm, adult only home. She is timid at first, but warms up over time and enjoys being pet but not cuddled. She does well in a predictable home environment and has been good with the children in her current household. However, she has a protective nature and has shown reactivity toward unfamiliar people, particularly when she perceives her owner is being approached or when other children move quickly around her. She has given warning bites in the past in these situations. Because of this, she must go to a home: - Without children - With experienced dog owners familiar with reactive protective dogs - That can provide with limited visitors She would likely do best with someone patient who can continue to build her confidence and manage introductions carefully. She is not aggressive without reason, but she does not the right environment to feel safe.
