Ollie is 5 years old. I took him in from a friend who had purchased him at a pet shop. He was 6 months old when we took him because she needed to rehome him. Ollie has separation anxiety. He loves walking, is really playful, can open doors, loves snuggles. Unfortunately Ollie’s anxiety was too much with a toddler. He adjusted to both of my babies but my toddler grabbed him playing and he nipped her face which required stitches. Herding dogs are known for nipping as that is their job. He hasn’t nipped myself or my husband in the 5 years we had him. This saddens us but we realize that Ollie needs a home with no children. He is resistant to strangers and is scared/ protective of his home. We want Ollie to have a good stress free life as he did before we had children. He needs someone experienced with dogs who can be patient with him and put time and care into transitioning him.Ollie’s shots are due. His rabies shot is up to date but it is due this August.

He has yet to meet a person he doesn’t like, and he gets along great with every dog he meets too. Biscuit’s superpowers are being both crate AND house trained at such a young age, being a supermodel pretty, and being the most lovable and easygoing boy. He is accident free as long as he’s kept on a suitable schedule of walks or given access to the outside via a doggie door. And if he wants out, he’ll tell you. Biscuit’s favorite things are ALL treats, dinner time (or maybe breakfast time) and taking a nap in your lap. He also enjoys being outside and he’s getting the hang of walking without pulling on the leash. If you have been looking for the best boy to take his place beside you, look no further. We love him deeply, but our current apartment living situation and demanding daily schedules cannot provide the high-energy physical outlet and mental stimulation a 2-year-old working breed requires. We want to ensure he gets the space, running room, and active environment he needs to truly thrive, which is more than we are able to offer him. We got him at 7 weeks old from my brother in Texas. He has spent his entire life with us. Loves to play, cuddle, chase his toys but needs more space desperately.
