Story
Any late 1980`s Rock fans out there?Jovi here, and I`m told I get my name for my luscious locks. From the outside I like to look like I am a tough guy, but I am very sweet and want to cling to you! There for a while I was `Livin` On A Prayer`, being out in the world by myself. I decided that `It`s My Life` and came across a nice person who brought me to the shelter. This place didn`t jive when I first got here. Now, I have gotten into the groove and feel comfortable! I will `Keep The Faith` in the shelter and wait for my new home. For now, that`s the `Story Of My Life`. Who wants to help me write my next album?

Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Lenoir, NC Meet Ranger! He is an 1 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs around 40 lbs. He isn’t neutered, up to date on shots, or on heartworm prevention. Ranger is nervous around strangers! He is good with cats and dogs! No children, due to his reactivity! He is housebroken and crate-trained. Ranger nipped the owner’s autistic son who was creeping up on him. Ranger doesn’t like slow movements. He is currently living with the owner’s mother. The owner is surrendering him because he has anger issues and food aggression. He also doesn’t do well with kids or men. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Ranger, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Ranger. Owner’s Contact Information: Whitney at whitneylee00@gmail.com.

Story
Margot is a pure bred miniature australian sheperd (no papers) weighing 28 pounds. We adopted her almost 2 years ago. She turns six on August 5th. Margot has gone through an intense training program and knows ALL of her commands (Research Dog Wizard - Charlotte). She was trained on an e-collar system(Will give you all components of system). We have lots of pets. Margot is obsessed with herding them and keeping them out of the house. She is a perfect dog as long as the house is quiet and there is not a lot of company. The only time she has shown aggression is when food/treats are involved. She gets anxious when lots of people are around and we end up boarding her if we have a lot of company. She definitely LOVES females. She will bark at males whenever they enter a room. She is not aggressive just vocal. She is the BEST companion. She needs an alpha owner. Margot likes to be in charge. My husband and I are soft on pet discipline and this does not work well with this breed.
