He is neutered and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Cash is fearful of strangers! No children, because he is nervous around them. He is good with cats and dogs! Cash is housebroken and crate-trained. The owner is surrendering him because they moved in with their mother who has health issues. Their mother doesn’t have a yard and he is too much energy for her. In Olmsted Township - Hey everyone! Let us introduce you to Mr. Max R. Roni. Max is an almost 7 year old Australian Shepherd. He’s had a sad past, losing his home, his mom and dad and now looking for a forever home to accept him as he is. It’s time for Max to find his furever home and thrive. Max came to ASF grossly overweight. He has been with his foster for several months trying to get some of his weight off and to help him be happy again. He’s lost a lot of weight already and is feeling much better. Max is a gentle old soul. When in the house, he’s pretty chill… he’ll find his spot and most of the time he’ll hang there alone. He will bring you his tennis ball (his FAVORITE toy) and wants you to toss it once he gives it to you. Max really loves butt rubs and being petted. He gets super excited to go outside and play ball or chase or catch a rolled Frisbee. When it’s time to quit, he just finds a spot to lay down. Max gets nervous on car rides and isn’t a fan. He’s very content staying at home. Walks are okay; he’s a bigger boy so he does pull some. Max is great left in the house all day: no accidents, no destruction. He does like the couch and would prefer to share your bed. Max has an issue with resource guarding toys… all toys belong to Max. Thus, a home with a submissive female or as an only dog would be best. His submissive 2 year old female foster sister Aussie plays chase with him but will drop any toy she has when Max comes near. He wasn’t nice the first time, so she just lets him have any toy. (The male Aussie in the house did not back down and this didn’t go well at all.) Due to his resource guarding, a home with small children would not be advised nor any dominant dog. Max is a sweet boy who just needs to find the right home. Someone to pet him on the couch, toss the ball for him once in while, take him out in the yard while you work or enjoy sitting and watching the day pass. Max is neutered, microchipped, UTD on vaccines, housebroken, crate trained, and on HW/flea prevention. He is currently being fostered in Olmsted Township, OH. There is an additional $20 fee to transfer his microchip to his new owners. All adoption fees go to help rescue other dogs like Max. Riley wants all of the attention! He would do best as the only dog or in a home with a dog who doesn’t mind him getting more attention. He hasn’t been tested around older children or cats. Sweet 1 year old Amy is in the market for a new loving home and would prefer a more quiet laid back setting. She is 35 lbs of a perfect mix of australian shepherd (her dad) and boxer/pit mix (her mom). A single lady would be prefered as she's not quite sure of men yet, but we are sure could learn to love them too? She did spend the first 6 months of her life in a pen outside with her littermates, so we would love a new owner that can work with her on socializing. Once in a new home, she is loving and a loyal velcro pooch. Amy has completed a 6 week training course. No children please, as she was adopted and returned due to her being afraid of littles! Amy can jump a lot and play rough (with people and other dogs) so she is not a good fit for seniors or people with small dogs. Echo is a year and a half ball of energy. Her DNA testing showed 48% Australian Cattle Dog and 32% border collie with a mixture of dogs for the remainder. We found her on a farm in Amish with 12 other puppies. We got her for free from the owner. She is a herding dog and tries to herd my kids with small nips and unfortunately it’s not great for toddlers. She also jumps our 4 ft chain link fence so anytime she is outside she has to be chained. She is a sweet and intelligent dog, she can learn a new command very quickly. With 3 kids, all with extra curricular activities I fear she is not living her best life with us. Echo would do great with a family that is willing and able to put time and energy into her training and exercise. She is crate trained and house broken. She is loyal and loves her humans once you gain her trust.
