Story
To be considered for adopting a dog from Canine Lifeline, you must have an approved application must be on file. Please visit http://www.caninelifeline.org/adoption-process/ for more information about our adoption process and to submit an online application.   Taffy is a lovable 6 month-old Aussie mix pup who was surrendered to a county dog shelter along with her 4 sisters. All made the trip to Canine Lifeline so they could have fun in foster homes while searching for their permanent new homes. Taffy is the life of the party and has never met a stranger. She’s out front exploring everything first and is eager to meet new people and other dogs. Taffy looks like a chubby bear cub and is just as huggable as they come. She would love a home with an active family to keep her busy and entertained as well as learning lots of new things so she can become a canine good citizen. Being left alone for long workdays would not be her cup of tea so she’s looking for an active person or family who has lots of time to spend with her. Taffy weighs about 17 pounds currently and we expect she may be 35-40 pounds or so once full-grown. Her adoption fee is $350. She’s spayed, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Taffy. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there. Please visit our website at www.caninelifeline.org to see more photos of Taffy and to submit an online application.May 29, 2023, 3:55 pm

Story
To be considered for adopting a dog from Canine Lifeline, you must have an approved application must be on file. Please visit http://www.caninelifeline.org/adoption-process/ for more information about our adoption process and to submit an online application.   Tully is a shy but very sweet 1.5 year-old Aussie mix neutered male who found himself homeless at an overcrowded county dog shelter since October of last year. He was very frightened at the shelter and while he warmed up to the volunteers and staff there, he was wary of strangers making his chances for adoption there almost nil. When the shelter reached serious overcrowding over the holidays, Tully was moved to a boarding kennel to save his life and buy him some time until we had room for him. Tully was a little shy with us when he first arrived but he is a real sweetheart who we know is going to excel once he feels comfortable in his forever home. He loves other dogs and would definitely benefit from having a confident canine buddy in his new home to help him adjust. Given his initial shyness in new situations, he would do best in a home that has a yard with a secure aboveground fence. Tully is a smart boy who’s sure to pick up the routine in his new home with ease once he feels comfortable there. We can’t wait for him to be living the life he deserves with a wonderful person or family who gives him that chance. He weighs about 50 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Story
To be considered for adopting a dog from Canine Lifeline, you must have an approved application must be on file. Please visit http://www.caninelifeline.org/adoption-process/ for more information about our adoption process and to submit an online application.   Ariel is a very pretty 2.5 year-old girl who found herself homeless at an overcrowded county dog shelter and made the trip to Canine Lifeline so she could take her time finding the perfect new home. The shelter listed her as a Heeler mix but we think she may have some Jack Russell Terrier or Beagle in her DNA too. Ariel is as sweet as can be but can be easily overwhelmed in new situations. She can be very timid and fearful meeting new people so it does take her some time to warm up to strangers. Ariel is much more comfortable with people when there is another dog around to boost her confidence so we do want to place her in a home where she'll have a confident buddy to emulate. She enjoys playing with other dogs so would also enjoy having a canine pal to wrestle with. Ariel has been crate-trained and housetrained in her foster home so should be able to pick up the house rules quickly in her new home. Ariel walks quite nicely on a leash but can be easily spooked by odd sights and sounds. She would love a home in a nice quiet neighborhood where she can truly relax and enjoy her life. Ariel goes hiking regularly with her foster mom and Boxer buddy and loves it! Given her shyness, she would do best in a home that has a yard with a secure aboveground fence. It will likely take Ariel some time to get comfortable in a new home but once she bonds with someone, you've got a friend for life! Ariel weighs about 27 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Ariel. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there. To be considered for adopting a dog from Canine Lifeline, you must have an approved application must be on file. Please visit http://www.caninelifeline.org/adoption-process/ for more information about our adoption process and to submit an online application.   Scarlet is a beautiful 2 year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix spayed female who found herself homeless at an overcrowded county dog shelter. She made the trip to Canine Lifeline so she could relax in a foster home while searching for her permanent new home. While we don’t have any history on this girl, we have found her to be extremely friendly with people. She loves making new friends and enjoys rolling over for a belly rub if given the chance. Scarlet enjoys playing with toys and does pretty well with a game of fetch. She can be particular about her dog friends though so might do best as the only dog in her new home. Scarlet has had excellent crate manners and may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. She enjoys going on walks and will make an excellent trail buddy for an active person or family. Scarlet is a great size at only about 30 pounds (easy to pick up if necessary) and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. Story
To be considered for adopting a dog from Canine Lifeline, you must have an approved application must be on file. Please visit http://www.caninelifeline.org/adoption-process/ for more information about our adoption process and to submit an online application.   Jasmine is a super-friendly and outgoing 2 year-old Border Collie/Cattle Dog mix spayed female who found herself on the euthanasia list at a county dog shelter through no fault of her own. There simply was not enough room to house all the dogs they were required to take in. Fortunately, a wonderful family offered to foster Jasmine while she searched for her permanent home with Canine Lifeline. Fostering truly SAVES LIVES! Jasmine’s foster mom reports that she has a very sweet, kind, and loving disposition. She has done well with housetraining but will need to be kept on a strict schedule and watched closely as she learns the rules in her new home. Jasmine does sleep in bed with her foster mom and is always up for a good snuggle. She is sharing her foster home with a couple of senior dogs and cats and while she has shown no aggression towards them, she does enjoy herding them (her job!). She enjoys playing so if there is another dog in her new home, it should be an active companion who can match her style of play. Jasmine walks nicely on a leash with a harness and does quite well but will try to chase a squirrel who comes into view. This girl loves to play ball and do zoomies in the back yard so a fenced yard would be ideal for her. Jasmine is a smart girl who knows some commands as well as hand signals. She’s a quick study who is very eager to please. Jasmine does well in the car and is ready for lots of fun adventures with her new family. Jasmine weighs about 38 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption finalized.
