This is Booger. She is a 1.5 year old Australian shepherd mix with the most beautiful eyes. She loves car rides, toys, treats, and playing in water. She will jump in the tub with you if you give her the opportunity. She loves any kind of scratches she can get (she's very persuasive), guarding under your desk using your feet as a pillow, and most of all, sitting in your lap on the couch to watch a movie. She's incredibly smart and learns new tricks quickly. She does well on a leash with a harness. She's potty trained but will need to be let out regularly. She loves to chase the squirrels up the tree and protect the yard. She needs to go to a home without other dogs or cats. She's timid at first, but with treats warms up easily. I am not sure how she is around kids. If you're interested, please let me know. I want her to go to the best home for her, and unfortunately, I can not provide that as I have other dogs. If you open your home up to her, she will love and protect your family with everything she has. I would love updates if you're willing to provide them. She's a very special dog and deserves the right home that can bring out her best. She is currently not spayed, but I do have an appointment booked for her. She will also have her rabbies shot then. She has received the 10-way vaccine from TSC, but she is due for her reup. I'm willing to drive to meet you if you are further away. Aussie is a 2 year old Aust Shepherd who came into our program July 22 and is currently living in a short term foster home. His fosters had this to say about Aussie, `We are finding that he is very friendly towards other pets (including squirrels and small dogs). He has no aggression towards anything we have found. He is doing great around children. If he gets his walks he is good and sleeps through all day. We`ve never heard him bark and he only cries if he wants to go out.He is such a smart dog too, he figured out how to use the door bell, sit, give paw, and use the doggy door very quickly.`

Est dob: 1/22/2019 Drax is a calm, friendly, affectionate, and very easy going guy. He’s about 4 years old and is an Australian Shepard mix. He is in a home with other dogs and has been with teenage kids as well. Drax is house broken, but always expect an adjustment when any pet enters a new environment. Unfortunately, Drax was fed way too much by his previous owners and has become a little overweight. He currently weighs in at 160 lbs which is way too much for him! He is on a vet supervised caloric diet which he has done very well with and has already started to lose some of those extra pounds! He is becoming more energetic as 4 year old dog should be, by playing more with his current foster's dog and toys. He would be a great addition to a family wanting to help him on his journey with starting off with slow short walks as he works towards his goals. Drax is in a foster home with other dogs and adults that he does well with. Please consider making this handsome boy a member of your family. As we are a foster based rescue, we do require a completed application to be submitted before we arrange a meet. Melo will be two years old I’m November 2024. She’s smart, affectionate, and energetic. She loves to run, play fetch, chase anything on a rope or string, play tug of war, play in water, and learn new tricks and skills. She needs lots of love and attention and exercise and we just aren’t able to provide that for her. She’s been to obedience school and knows many basic commands and skills. She gets very excitable when new people are around and sometimes needs a few minutes to settle down. We hate to let her go but we just can’t giver her the attention and exercise she needs.
