Story
Meet Twix, a delightful 14-pound puppy with a heart full of joy. He`s the epitome of playful and friendly, always ready to engage in a fun game or snuggle into a cozy lap. He especially loves chewing so plenty of toys will keep him happy. Twix is a social butterfly, thriving in the company of other dogs and children, making him a perfect family companion. He is respectful around other dogs. Although he`s still learning the ropes, his easygoing nature makes training a joyful experience. Of course, he needs help with house training and leash walking. He was given up because he was part of an unexpected litter. Adopting Twix means bringing home endless love and lively energy, ensuring laughter and companionship for years to come. (tw 8/15/2026)

Story
Jubal Sex: Female Breed: Shepherd Mix Age: Approximately 5 years old Good with: Dogs Not recommended with: Cats Crate Trained: Yes House Trained: Yes Jubal is one of those special dogs whose true personality shines once she knows she’s safe. While she may be shy and fearful when meeting new people, beneath that timid exterior is a bubbly, goofy girl with a heart of gold. Her favorite place to nap is upside down on the couch with her belly in the air, and she loves joining other dogs for playtime before settling in for a well-earned snooze. She’s crate trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and has wonderful manners around other dogs. Jubal has experienced significant trauma in her life, so she needs a patient adopter who understands that trust isn’t built overnight. She has never shown aggression—when she’s nervous, she simply cowers and quietly accepts handling. Once she feels secure, her sweet, smiley personality begins to blossom. Her ideal home is calm, gentle, and patient, preferably with another confident, friendly dog who can help her continue building confidence. Because of her unique needs, potential adopters will spend time visiting Jubal in her foster home before adoption so she can develop trust and feel comfortable with her future family. If you’re willing to let Jubal move at her own pace, you’ll discover an incredibly loyal companion with one of the purest souls you’ll ever meet. Sometimes the greatest love stories are the ones that take a little time to unfold.  ##2513638##

Story
Julie is the definition of easygoing. This gorgeous golden girl is calm, gentle, and wonderfully low energy. She walks beautifully on leash without pulling, knows how to sit on command, and takes treats gently right from your hand. Julie isn’t particularly interested in toys, and honestly, she doesn’t seem to need much to make her happy. She’ll happily sit there and soak up pets for as long as you’re willing to give them, but she’s equally content to do her own thing too. She’s independent without being aloof and affectionate without being demanding.Julie has also done well with other dogs in shelter playgroups and would likely enjoy having canine companions in her future home. If you’re looking for a sweet, steady companion who has left the puppy chaos behind and is ready to enjoy the simple things in life - good company, some pets, and a peaceful place to call home - Julie might be your girl.

Story
Frida is ready to leave momma dog duties in the dust and start a new chapter! After raising a litter of puppies that have all since left the shelter, it`s finally her turn to find a family of her own. She has a friendly, easygoing personality that`s a great mix of affectionate and independent. Frida enjoys spending time with people, but she`s also perfectly content entertaining herself by strolling around, sniffing every interesting smell she can find. With her low to medium energy level, she`d make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a dog who`s happy to join in on adventures and then relax afterward. This sweet girl is good on a leash, and has done well meeting other dogs in shelter playgroups. Frida loves her snacks. She takes treats gently from your hand and will happily show off her impressive vertical leap when you hold one up - but don`t worry, she jumps for the treat, not on you. And treats are pretty much the only things that make her that excited.
