We got Elmwood from harris county veterinary public health 4 years ago and he has been the best dog you could imagine. He is super sweet and likes attention but also enjoys his alone time. He isnt very well with other big dogs but he is good with smaller dogs and any cats. He has lived with cats all his life. Our grandpa got diagnosed with terminal cancer last month and we are moving into a small apartment by the retirement home he is heading too. As much as we would love to bring Elmwood with us, itsjust not an option for us. All I ask is he goes to a loving home that will never bring him back to a shelter as he spent his first part of his life there. He does have anxiety and will chew up some toys so we have been keen to putting things up and things have been fine with that. He is great with children, we had a daughter a couple years ago and he instantly fell in love with her and would be so gentle with her. He really is the best and anyone would be lucky to call him family
