Story
Meet Jingle! 🐾 Jingle is a sweet young (appx 2 years old) Collie mix girl with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. She’s spayed, up-to-date on her vet care, and currently living in a foster home with 5 other playful pups, two cats, and a young child. Jingle gets along well with other dogs, but she’d also be happy as the only pup in a quieter home or with a small, calm pack—large or loud environments can be a bit much for her. A peaceful home where someone is around most of the day would be her dream! She thrives with calm, patient people who understand that trust takes time, especially with men, but once you earn her love, she’s incredibly loyal and affectionate. She’s curious about cats—she might give chase, but it’s all in play, not aggression. Jingle loves being home with her people most of all, and she's happiest when she's included in the daily rhythm of life. This clever girl is crate trained, doing great with her leash manners, and she loves agility activities in the backyard! With a little encouragement, she could shine in agility sports. She’s also a top-notch package alert system—she takes her job as home protector seriously (but not aggressively!). A few quirks to know about Jingle: • She can get car sick if riding in a crate, but does fine buckled into a seat. • She’s an occasional escape artist—a fully fenced yard is a must, and a GPS tracker on her collar would be a smart addition. • Her recall needs work, so leash walks and secure outdoor time are key. • She recently started anxiety medication, and it's helped her tremendously. A calm home may alleviate the need for medication. If you’re looking for a loyal, smart, and loving companion who just needs a little patience and a calm environment to thrive, Jingle might be your perfect match. 🐶💕 📍Apply to adopt Jingle: www.houstoncollierescue.org

Story
Sweetest boy you’ve ever met, absolute cuddle bug who’ just wants quality time with his people. Loves spending time with his humans on or off the couch, loves trail walking and the dog park, great with kids and loves human attention. Is happiest when he’s hiking on a trail with his people. Good with other dogs but wouldn’t trust him with cats. House trained, has basic dog training, is smart as a whip and VERY eager to please when food is involved. Has some medical issues that are fairly simple to manage - special no fat diet and no human food whatsoever- but otherwise is happy and active. One of the most lovable dogs I’ve ever met and have had the pleasure of raising for years. Unfortunately I’m going through some life transitions that make me unable to pay him enough attention and would love to find him a home that can treat him like the prince he is. He really is beyond precious to me, and I really hope to find someone who’d love him as much as I do.

Story
Meet Beasley! Breed: Australian Shepherd x Blue Heeler MixGender: FemaleAge: 4 years oldSize: Medium/Large (50 lbs)Good with: Being the one and only Beasley is bountiful in both beauty and energy—this stunning Australian Shepherd x Blue Heeler mix is the total package if you're looking for a gorgeous, athletic companion who wants to be your entire world. At 50 pounds of pure working dog enthusiasm, Beasley has the drive, intelligence, and energy you'd expect from this powerhouse combo of breeds. Here's the deal: Beasley is a queen, and queens don't share their throne. She doesn't do well with other dogs and would much prefer to rule her kingdom solo. This isn't a flaw, it's just who she is—she wants all your attention, all your love, and all your couch space, thank you very much. No roommates needed or wanted. With her herding breed smarts, Beasley needs a home that can keep both her body and mind busy. She's not a "chill on the couch all day" kind of dog (though she'll absolutely claim the couch once she's earned it). Think long walks, training sessions, puzzle toys, and activities that let her use that beautiful brain. She's the kind of dog who will learn every trick you teach her and then invent a few of her own. Beasley needs an experienced owner who understands herding breeds, has an active lifestyle, and is looking for a devoted one-dog companion. If you want a stunning, smart, energetic girl who will be 100% focused on you, Beasley is ready to claim you as hers! Ready to welcome Beasley into your life? Contact us to meet this wonderful girl! Accidents are normal during the transition to a new home, and additional training should be expected. All dogs are examined by our veterinarian, are spayed or neutered if old enough, and are up to date on ageappropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption. We share all known medical information, but we cannot guarantee future health or rule out underlying conditions. ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.happyfacespetranch.org Once your application has been approved, a representative will be in touch to set up a meet and greet. Story
Noel is an extra-sweet rescue looking for his forever home. He was found abandoned in a park right before Christmas. He has since been fostered, fully house trained, and even graduated from a basic obedience school with flying colors. He is shy at first who warms up with treats and cuddles. He is an exceptionally loyal friend who loves to be with his humans and is the cuddliest dog ever with his super soft mink-like shiny fur. Noel is a calm, chill guy, and a friend to all. His joys in life are playing with other dogs and water play with sprinklers and hoses. We have a busy home with small kids and lots of rescue dogs coming in and out, and he has a blast with everyone. He weighs about 35-38lbs, estimated 2-3 yrs old, very well behaved, in perfect health and ready for his forever home!
