Story
Hello, gorgeous girl… meet Dolly Mae   Dolly Mae is a sweet, gentle mama who was turned into the shelter with her five tiny puppies because her owners said they “had too many animals”… words we hear far too often.   One of her babies was baby Socks… the sweet boy we tried so hard to save, but lost in less than 24 hours.   After that, we asked about Dolly Mae and her other puppies, hoping to bring them to safety too… but we were told we couldn’t take them because of the shelter’s adoption event — they were “adoption only.”   So we waited. We watched closely.   One by one, her puppies were chosen… all adopted on the very first day. But not Dolly Mae. And honestly… she shouldn’t have even been there. This mama doesn’t need a busy adoption floor — she needs rest, healing, and someone to finally take care of her. It’s so clear her body has been through far too much. When we finally got the okay to take her, we didn’t hesitate. This morning, Dolly Mae walked out of the shelter and into safety.   She’s now decompressing at our trainer’s home, and she is everything you could hope for — incredibly sweet, loving, and just wants to be by your side, giving hugs and kisses. But there’s still a quiet sadness in her eyes… You can tell she’s looking for her babies. They were only 6 weeks old — she wasn’t ready to say goodbye.   Dolly Mae is only about 2 years old, a petite Aussie mix at 26 pounds (should be closer to 30–35 healthy). She has her whole life ahead of her, and we are determined to make it a good one. Right now, she needs a soft place to land while she heals. A foster home is needed, or even a foster-to-adopt. Let's give this sweet mama the love she's always deserved!    May 19, 2026, 12:50 am

Story
If you would like more information about Angel or are interested in adopting her, please send an email to davidchandler1213@gmail.com Meet Angel – A Sweet Soul Looking for a Calm, Loving Home Angel is a beautiful 9-year-old Australian Shepherd mix with a gentle spirit and a heart full of love. We adopted her in 2018, and she’s been a loyal companion ever since. She’s house-trained, well-mannered indoors, and happiest when she’s by your side on a peaceful walk or relaxing nearby. Angel thrives in a calm, predictable environment. She hasn’t done well with other dogs, so she’d do best as the only dog in the home. But she gets along well with our cats so it's possible she could adjust to other cats. Her ideal home would be with adults or older children. Although Angel can pull when she sees other dogs, she absolutely loves going for walks and being outdoors. We recently welcomed a baby into our home, and unfortunately, Angel has been showing signs of stress around the baby. This decision has been heartbreaking, but we want to do what’s best for her, and that means finding a home where she can feel safe, relaxed, and loved. Angel is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and in good health. She would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal, low-key best friend to share their life with. If you think you could be the right fit for Angel, we’d love to talk with you and arrange a meet and greet. Story
Blu is a purebred Bi-Blue Merle, I got him at 8 weeks when he was weaned and Blu is 8 years old now. We lived on 11 acres when we got him and did for years, Blu had the run of the place with our horses, cows and our kids. We moved to Pearland Texas when I married my wife who is from Pearland, we had to make a big adjustment from going from 11 acres to less than 1/4 acre, and half our small backyard is a pool. Blu is the best dog ever, and even though he doesn't complain about it, it just makes me extremely sad that he is so confined. Unfortunately, Blu is not housebroken because he was our ranch dog, and when we moved here, I didn't want to go through the issues associated with house training an adult dog, as well as this breed sheds an awful lot. Blu is the best dog and my intentions are to find him new a home that can give him a better life with more room to run. We are not moving and I will keep Blu with me until I find him a better lifestyle, or forever if I can't.

Story
Hello, my name is Shade. I'm a sweet little puppy and a mix of Australian Shepherd and German Shepherd. I was born on February 1, 2026. I had one litter mate and play a lot with my mom and two older siblings. My two favorite things to do are play and eat. I'm very curious and love to by held and snuggle. I was born with an umbilical hernia but it does not bother me in my adventures. The human says it would be best to take care of it when i go for my spade procedure (whatever that means, haha) Finding a loving home would be the most awesome thing and i promise love you and bring joy to anyone willing to invest in my future!
