Story
I got him from a local breeder, and he’s now about 1 ½ years old. He is an incredibly smart, loving, and energetic dog who truly thrives with attention and consistency. He loves cuddles, enjoys being close to his people, and learns new things very quickly. I’m looking for a home that can give him the time, structure, and affection he deserves — someone who will walk him regularly, continue his training, and offer a stable and loving environment where he can flourish. He’s the kind of dog who bonds deeply and brings so much joy to the right family.

Unfortunately, circumstances changed, and her family made the difficult decision to return her. This sudden turn of events left Daisy heartbroken and bewildered, as her familiar world crumbled around her. Now, in a new environment, Daisy is in the process of adapting to her changed circumstances. As we uncover more about Daisy's personality and journey, her bio and photos will be updated to reflect the resilient and lovable spirit that defines her.Adoption Process: After your application is approved, a home visit is schedule. We will bring the pet to you and help with introductions to your current pet(s). You will then have a week with the pet to ensure they are the right fit for your home. At the end of the week, you finalize the adoption and the pet is officially part of your family! Learn more at ohar.org/adoptionprocess

Story
Josie is approximately a 10-year-old Australian Shepherd loyal, smart, and full of love. She’s well-behaved, house-trained, and still has plenty of energy to enjoy walks, playtime, and snuggles. She would do best in a home without other pets. She can be aggressive toward other dogs and doesn’t care for cats, so she truly needs to be the only pet where she can get all the love and attention. She has been around chickens, sheep, goats, cattle, and horses and does very well with livestock. Like a true Aussie, she loves to work; and will often herd them in a circle over and over. I’m hoping to find her a forever home where she’ll be cherished, understood, and given the companionship she deserves.
