Gila is so gorgeous it is almost difficult to put it in words. She is definitely a mix of breeds, we are thinking Border Collie and Aussie maybe. Just look at that coat and markings! Wow! She came to us with eight puppies who are now weaned meaning Mom is ready to have a great life with a great family. Could it be yours? Our Furry Friendz are available for adoption through a screening process which includes but is not limited to: a completed application, 3 referrals, a home visit, and a vet referral prior to their furever home placement. The dogs are Spayed/Neutered, micro chipped, current on all vaccines and on heart worm/flea preventive. Story
Hello everyone, this is Draco a 3 year old Aussie. Draco was adopted when he was about 7 wks and was gifted to me by my boyfriend as a Christmas gift. He has only had his first set of shots. Due to income and him being my first pet and not knowing how much to care for a pet I truly never had the money to get him groomed, or kept up with his vaccines. My brother will be a dad soon and I don't have time or money to get him trained or give him the attention he needs. Draco is potty trained, knows how to sit and shake and is very smart. He can be a bit timid when going on walks or meeting new people, but usually once he gets used to you he will absolutely love you! He doesn't do well with strangers especially if he feels fear from them. He will bark and be protective to possibly snapping at you. There have been several times when someone has come over that he snaps with a bit to them but never hard that he breaks skin. He is a baby trapped in a big dog body who loves attention.

Personality: Daisy is a sweet and gentle soul, a delicate bloom with a heart full of love waiting to unfold. Despite her initial reservations, Daisy is a loyal friend once she trusts you. She may take a bit of time to warm up, but patience and understanding will be rewarded with the genuine affection she has to offer. In a calm and nurturing environment, Daisy's playful side starts to emerge, revealing a delightful personality that's just waiting to bloom. Adopt Daisy, and watch as she unfolds into the wonderful canine companion she was meant to be, bringing love, joy, and a touch of reserved charm into your home.History: Daisy, a sweet pup, was initially adopted from OHAR as a young and hopeful addition to a loving family. Unfortunately, circumstances changed, and her family made the difficult decision to return her. This sudden turn of events left Daisy heartbroken and bewildered, as her familiar world crumbled around her. Now, in a new environment, Daisy is in the process of adapting to her changed circumstances. As we uncover more about Daisy's personality and journey, her bio and photos will be updated to reflect the resilient and lovable spirit that defines her.Adoption Process: After your application is approved, a home visit is schedule. We will bring the pet to you and help with introductions to your current pet(s). You will then have a week with the pet to ensure they are the right fit for your home. At the end of the week, you finalize the adoption and the pet is officially part of your family! Learn more at ohar.org/adoptionprocess
