Story
Personality: Daisy is a sweet and gentle soul, a delicate bloom with a heart full of love waiting to unfold. Despite her initial reservations, Daisy is a loyal friend once she trusts you. She may take a bit of time to warm up, but patience and understanding will be rewarded with the genuine affection she has to offer. In a calm and nurturing environment, Daisy's playful side starts to emerge, revealing a delightful personality that's just waiting to bloom. Daisy absolutely adores belly rubs and finds pure joy in the simple pleasure of being pampered. Her face lights up with happiness as she revels in the gentle touch that brings her comfort and reassurance. If you're ready to be the sunshine in Daisy's world, offering her the patient and loving home she deserves, you might just find that this pup becomes the brightest bloom in your life. Adopt Daisy, and watch as she unfolds into the wonderful canine companion she was meant to be, bringing love, joy, and a touch of reserved charm into your home.History: Daisy, a sweet pup, was initially adopted from OHAR as a young and hopeful addition to a loving family. Unfortunately, circumstances changed, and her family made the difficult decision to return her. This sudden turn of events left Daisy heartbroken and bewildered, as her familiar world crumbled around her. Now, in a new environment, Daisy is in the process of adapting to her changed circumstances. As we uncover more about Daisy's personality and journey, her bio and photos will be updated to reflect the resilient and lovable spirit that defines her.Adoption Process: After your application is approved, a home visit is schedule. We will bring the pet to you and help with introductions to your current pet(s). You will then have a week with the pet to ensure they are the right fit for your home. At the end of the week, you finalize the adoption and the pet is officially part of your family! Learn more at ohar.org/adoptionprocess

Story
Bear is a 5-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd. He is crate trained, potty trained, leash trained, good with cats and other dogs (he loves dogs), went to boarding school as a puppy, and is neutered. He is extremely loyal, sweet, and very bonded to his people. He loves cuddles, being close, and thrives on attention and connection. He is also emotionally intense and does best in a home that understands herding/working breeds and can give him structure. I realized I’m not the best long-term fit for Bear. I believe he needs a family, a backyard, and ideally another dog to play with. I want him to feel fulfilled, calm, and secure, not anxious or understimulated. Bear is not aggressive. He is eager to please but can get anxious without enough exercise or if there is a lot of commotion or new people. He may be shy at first but usually warms up quickly. He will be your little shadow and a loyal best friend. Please message me with as much info as possible if you are interested!

Story
Josie is approximately a 13-year-old Australian Shepherd loyal, smart, and full of love. She’s well-behaved, house-trained, and still has plenty of energy to enjoy walks, playtime, and snuggles. She would do best in a home without other pets. She can be aggressive toward other dogs and doesn’t care for cats, so she truly needs to be the only pet where she can get all the love and attention. She has been around chickens, sheep, goats, cattle, and horses and does very well with livestock. Like a true Aussie, she loves to work; and will often herd them in a circle over and over. I’m hoping to find her a forever home where she’ll be cherished, understood, and given the companionship she deserves.
