Story
Sadie is an 8-year-old Australian shepherd mix with the kindest eyes and softest heart. Though she is deaf, that doesn't slow her down one bit- she's full of love, playfulness, and quiet resilience, Sadie takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once she feels safe, her true personality shines: gentle, affectionate, and irresistibly sweet. She's potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, and knows how to sit despite her herring loss. She's a fan of bath time, enjoys being brushed and pampered, and loves chasing after her favorite tennis ball. Because of her timid nature, Sadie is looking for a calm, patient home with people who understand that trust takes time- but who are willing to wait and see how truly special she is. Sadie is looking for a forever home that will spoil, love, and appreciate her, if this sounds like you then Sadie is waiting!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. We don't see too many Aussie mixes in our rescue so don't let this sweet girl get away! Patty was found wandering along a highway and in rough shape. Our rescue was contacted because there may be some Pyr in this girl. Whether there is or not doesn't matter, we're happy to have this adorable girl in our rescue! Patty is as sweet as they come, is good with other dogs and adores kiddos! She's calm left alone in the house, just super excited to see you when you get home! Patty was recently spayed and is being fostered in SLC, waiting for her forever family to find her!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 7, 2025, 12:46 pm

Story
This stunning guy is Misio, pronounced 'Misho' which is Polish for Teddy Bear. Misio is a 9 year old Australian Shepherd who is currently on a diet to get to his ideal weight of about 37 pounds. Misio is looking for a patient and mature household to live the rest of his years. He is working through some trust issues and is learning to let his guard down. But once he knows you are safe, he will be yours forever. Misio likes to be near people but isnt overly cuddly, he is content to be in his own space near you. He'd do best in a home with adults only and no other animals. Misio is still very active and he would love to be your hiking, camping, or running companion! He is very outgoing and loves to chase a ball around the yard. He is also very smart and picks up on training quickly. Misio needs a forever home that can provide him with mental stimulation and a physical outlet. He can be chill in the house, but is also not a couch potato. He is house trained and crate trained and walks well on leash. With a little bit of training, a dash of patience, and a person who will be active with him, Misio will be an amazing companion for years to come! Dogs are not placed on a first- come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. ALL CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting Misio, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-application If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationApril 16, 2025, 7:22 am

Story
Kayli came to her foster mom sick and at a very unhealthy weight. After a lengthy nutrition and weight loss program this adorable girl is ready to find her forever home! She was at a point where she could barely walk and now she loves a nice race around the backyard or to fetch her toys for you. She is a supreme cuddle bug and can't get close enough to her people. Tummy rubs might be her favorite thing and if you pet her she will adorably fling herself to the ground to better accommodate you. She loves walks but is also content to just stay home with you, too. She does have a problem with excited barking but she calms down after a short time. She just loves every single person she meets and can't control her excitement at first. She also loves children and children love her but because of her initial excited barking she can sometimes scare them so an initial leash greeting would be best with small children. She loves other dogs but if they get in her face too much she can sometimes be a little snippy. She has done well in her foster home with another older dog and, for a short stint, she had a blast with a big, goofy young boy that was recently adopted. Kayli has a 'cherry eye' (where the tear duct has popped out under the eyelid) that her owner chose not to fix as it doesn't bother her at all, but because of that it has been too long to do anything about it. It doesn't bother her and requires no attention. Would like to meet this cute girl?Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Story
Meet Aero! Aero is the sweetest and just wants to be wherever you are. He does well on the leash and is so smart he is always eager to please and learn. He is very food motivated. Aero seems to be an Australian Kelpie mix at only 30 lbs he is the perfect cuddle size. Because of his breed he is intelligent and needs constant stimulation and attention. I think Aero would do best in a home where he has the ability to go in and out of a fenced yard when he pleases. He has met other dogs and just wants to play. I’m sure he would love a dog friend as well. He needs toys that will keep him busy and entertained throughout the day. He sits next to the front door when he needs to potty. He loves women more than men. He will follow me everywhere. My husband on the other hand he is a little timid and unsure. It just takes some time for him to warm and and give cuddles confidently. Aero needs a human that will give him the time and attention he needs and deserves.
